Anyone with fatty liver here? Been away along time!

Hi All, I've not been on the board in SO long! things have been going well for me. I have been incredibly busy with my family, and work has been super busy. We were already busy last fall when Tropical Storm Irene hit Vermont hard. My town was largely spared from the destruction by a flood control d...

I had a hysterectomy 5 years ago, about 4 years after my MC diagnosis. I too had endometriosis and fibroids which almost caused me to bleed to death. I can only say I have SO much more energy now than I did pre-surgery! Sounds like you should be in and out of the hospital quickly, but make sure to t...

My husband and I did the 2 cakes...I had a gf one lined up by a baker here in VT who ended up in the end not having time to do my cake. So we went to a local cake decorator (who uses betty crocker mixes, but decorates wonderfully) and he did a regular sized one for the majority, and DH and I cut the...

Which brand of chicken are you eating? i seriously think i react to Perdue Chicken. They use "all natural" ingredients in the broth added to the meat for moisture. That was their response to my asking if it contained soy...so in otherwords I really wonder what all is in it because they did...

Friend Might Stop By

Hi all, One of my co-workers has a daughter who has been suffering major health/digestive issues for the last year or more. They are starting to suspect food intolerances (gluten, soy and dairy). I shared our little home here and told her how wonderful you all are and how many awsome resources there...

Polly,

so sorry to hear about Rusty. My sister lost her 14 or 15 year old black lab about a year ago for similar reasons. Emma was good in spirit as her body failed too. Rusty is at peace and I'm sure appreciated all you did for him.

I was 28 or 29 when I got MC...38 now. seemingly gluten intolerant, and soy intolerant. I slipped yesterday for the first time in a LONG time on the gluten thing, and seem to have coped well...it is hard, but you can find a solution for yourself.

Hope you are feeling better and more hopeful,
Katy

I've had 2 MRI's...first on my ankle, and I could hear the music because my head was out of the tube...second on my head and I don't think they even offered me music... Take it easy and follow orders...nothing worse than back/neck pain. I've got some issues in my upper back right now, but they are d...

Sounds like good progress Tex! Granted when I had major blood loss I quickly went on Lupron which has all sorts of fun side effects, but nurses did tell me that even though the blood levels are "non-anemic" anymore, it takes a couple months for the body to fully recover from blood loss lik...

Question for those avoiding Soy

So for those of you who are avoiding soy, do you have trouble with Perdue chicken? I have always got to that instead of the "store brand" packaged because they say their "water" is gluten free. But for some reason chicken and even worse, chicken soup I make from it (and I make th...

A little over a year ago I was told my D was related to a staph infection in the gut. Because the doctor had never seen it on a pathology report before she called the pathologist who said that they are now doing this broad spectrum test when asked to do a C-Diff test. Antibiotics helped. I too also ...

As one who has been continually nauseous in the past and been told nothing was wrong (and I don't have issues like poor Kait), I feel for the girl. Docs don't seem to think if a test can't show the problem...or they are few and far between who do. I do hope this helps...weaning off those particular ...

Well, Others beat me to the punch for play-dates for Camryn...local (or near but not so local) celiac support groups seems to be the way to go. Perhaps networking through the doctor's offices might be helpful...maybe through the nearest Children's hospital. Obviously they won't tell you who else has...
