I don't know why my pic under my name says I am from Canada or how that changed. I still live in Texas! I am an American!

My doctor at the Ultrawellness Center in Lenox, Massachusetts who has helped me more than any other told me that rosacea is generally a bacteria problem. Since getting rid of the parasite he found I still have or had too many bad bacteria and not enough good bacteria. He has me taking Biocidin by Bi...

Been Awhile, Parasite!!!

Hi all, Is been quite awhile since I've been on here and felt I should update. I never really felt like I belonged here even though I had 3 colonoscopies with biopsies and of course MC was the DX each time. I just didn't respond to meds or diet like others. Soooooo long story short after finally bei...

Gigi,

I just drank my first dose. Not the best tasting stuff but certainly not the worst. If it works I can learn to tolerate it!

Gigi, I haven't posted for a long while, but I just received my sample packets of Enteragam today! Also just got off the phone with the specialty pharmacy that my dr wanted me to use to get this. My dr's nurse said that their patients have been paying approximately $50/month for this RX. It all soun...

Tex,

Ha Ha  It should be sold in capsules and it supposedly works both ways, for diarrhea or constipation.

I have to say that guar gum has helped me immensely!!! I have made my own capsules and take them every day. I just upped it to 3 twice a day. That's about 1/4 tsp in each capsule so that is 1 1/2 tsp a day. I tried a long time ago taking other fiber supplements like Benefiber, Metamucil, Fiber con a...

Thank you all for your input!!! I really don't think Chris Kresser is aware that coconut milk is not a FODMAP. I am extremely sensitive to FODMAPS but do not react to coconut milk even with guar gum. I do react to coconut oil but I think that is just too much oil. But I am different than most on her...

I've just started eating coconut milk. I didn't think I would tolerate it because I do not tolerate coconut oil. But I tried it and found that it was not only delicious but I think it firmed up my stools. I have been using the Thai brand, yes guar gum. And I just found the non BPA cans of Native For...

Martha, My son and his girl friend (now fiancé) were in Bangkok over Christmas as well! They went to visit her brother who is studying abroad this year. They rode the elephants too and visited Phi Phi Island where he proposed! The only trouble they had was on the return Air China decided to leave 6 ...

Leah, I don't know about the antibiotic but I agree with sinus rinsing. I use the Neil Med system. It comes with a squeeze bottle and premixed little packets of the buffered salt. I heat up distilled water. That is critical, distilled water! In the microwave for about 30 seconds, depends how strong ...

Deb, I was so happy last year when my dr gave me Armour( actually NP thyroid) but it never really made me feel better and certainly never raised my labs. Even my dr said I was feeling better because I was taking Cortisol. So he added the synthetic Levothyoxin and it doubled my FT3 and FT4. He took m...

Deb, I was wondering the same question about the time of day that you take your levo. My bottle says to take 1/2 hour to 1 hour before breakfast and not within 4 hours of vitamins or minerals. I take my vitamins at lunch. Thyroid med is a stimulant so that may be why you have sleep issues. Talk to y...

I'm pretty much back to normal except for a lingering cough and still taking Tamiflu for one more day. Fever was gone completely by Saturday and so was the headache. I did end up using a nasal steroid, not budesonide, and I think it helped. I'm told I am having a shorter and lighter case because I t...
