From what I've read it seems like intolerance is a finicky thing. You may continue to become reactive to new foods right? And you may some day be able to reintroduce foods and not react to them?

Thanks! I found http://digestivehealth-annarbor.com/ from their registry. They offer: Ann Arbor Holistic Health recommends a complete blood test which checks for both Gluten Intolerance and an additional 96 potential food allergens. This comprehensive screening can detect secondary food allergies wh...

It took a combination of liquid imodium (1/4 tsp. 4 x day) and 9 mgs. budesonide a day to get my stools back to normal. I still have a lot of pain, bloating discomfort and fatigue though.

I still have a few questions about my EnteroLab report. B) Gluten/Antigenic Food Sensitivity Stool/Gene Panel Fecal Anti-casein (cow’s milk) IgA 6 Units (Normal Range is less than 10 Units) 1. If I have measurable fecal IgA for anti-gliadin, anti-ovalbumin (chicken egg) and anti-soy, why would they...

Thank you Tex. This forum is a comfort. Got a call from GI clinic. They renewed my liquid imodium prescription but the clerk didn't know how long I should continue taking it. Until I get C? Are there limits to the time you can take it like the pepto bismol treatment? I am supposed to continue 9 mgs....

Thankfully I think the symptoms are stabilizing after 7 weeks of dietary changes, budesonide and a week of liquid imodium. I still have the pain in my left side, the bloating and abdominal pain, and cramping with BM mobility but I'm back to normans which will be a big plus on the road trip. I have t...

Could you try a regular course of imodium? I am hoping that the liquid dosage I'm taking 4 x a day will keep help deliver me to a point where I can start easing off the budesonide. I've started at 1/4 tsp but GI said I should increase it by 1/4 tsps. up to 1 tsp. 4 x a day until my stool becomes nor...

Can you drink cranberry juice? I've been worried about that myself with the sometimes unsanitary state of my panties. I don't know the leakage is there until I go to the restroom. My tote bag keeps getting bigger.

I have started liquid imodium with the 9mgs Endocort (after week 5) and it looks like it may be helping (day 4). Maybe you could ask the GI about adding that or the pepto bismol trial with the Endocort before switching to prednisone?

Hope you have a good trip. My friends and family have been very supportive. People generally love to help if they get a chance to. My daughter is planning a flourless chocolate cake with berries at her wedding in August. Be aware with the pepto bismol. I developed tinnitus within the 1st week. I've ...

I am having a abdominal and pelvic CT scan to rule out other possibilities. I still have tinnitus from the pepto bismol that I took for 1 week. I stopped taking it for two days and talked to my GI. He then prescribed nortriptyline 25 mgs. at bedtime for the pain. I tried it once and it was easy to d...

I mentioned that to him about being concerned about the anti-depressant and MC. I was surprised that the tinnitus, heartburn and abdominal pain were dismissed as unlikely side effects to the Bismuth subsalicylate and budesonide. They are widely reported and they have been a result of the treatment f...
