Mandy,

I would def do the miralax/gatorade over the moviprep for sure!

My primary Dr ordered the HIDA scan and the nurse told me those results but nothing else. The GI Dr wants to look over the test himself and give me more of an answer.

So the Moviprep was aweful! The pain was excrutiating! Got through it and did the colonoscopy yesterday. I have yellowish/white excudate, which he told me is the signs of a certain kinf od colitis, cant remember the name he told me. He took several biopsies and cultures and did blood work as well. H...

Oh yes I remember Leah. Thats a good idea, I think I will. This is supposed to be gentler and only have you going for about an hour and a half but I dont want to take too many chances.

Clear liquids tomorrow to prep for the colonoscopy Thursday. Clear broth is on the list so I will be doing that. :-)

So this doctor listened to me and actually agreed with a lot of what I had to say. He stopped all meds except the prednisone because that needs to be weaned off of. I forgot to add that my primary told me to eat as much yogart as possible and also prescribed ensure. I have some generic ensure that says it is lactose/gluten free. I tried eating the yogart, but it was almost instant run to the bathroom. The ensure goes through me pretty quickly as well but stays ...

The pharmacy just called and it is going to cost $400 with my insurance!! I cant afford that right now so I guess I stay on the prednisone till I go to the 2nd GI DR.

I hate this so much I feel so hopeless right now!

Is there a cheaper way to get it fast??
