Re: Update on my LDN journey--MC GONE!!!

Thank you Tex. It does require a special mindset to search and find solutions and the discipline to follow diets and protocols. :pigtail:

Re: Update on my LDN journey--MC GONE!!!

It’s the safest drug I have ever taken. The amount is very small. I have been taking it for 8-9 years. Even though I no longer have MC I will continue taking it for other issues. I only take 1 mg 3 times a week. Good luck.

Update on my LDN journey--MC GONE!!!

Hello friends, After nearly 8 years on LDN I finally decided to have a colonoscopy. I have been taking a microscopic quantity of LDN and have felt very good for over 7 years. No issues whatsoever of any kind. I got the results of the colonoscopy last week: NO MICROSCOPIC COLITIS. I continue to be ca...

total Remission on LDN

Hi Tex, So glad to hear from you! :) Yes, of course that I am GF since I eat no grains and carbs except for the ones that come in green vegies. I tried a few times years ago some bread and it had no effect on me....but the keto diet definitely rules out all things grains or carbs, so that's that. So...

total Remission on LDN

No, I am no longer GF. Haven't been in several years. I am doing keto now for my diabetes so I am not eating any carbs derived from grains or sugars. My carbs come mostly from green vegetables. I bake with almond flour. I still don't drink coffee which was one of my triggers. I am too scarred to try...

Total Remission on LDN

Hey friends, I haven't been here for a while. Wanted to say hi to all my longtime friends and to Tex. I am now almost 7 years in total remission. I am still taking LDN but a very low dose. 1.5mg. I don't need more. I am on a keto diet to keep my blood sugars normal. I am T1 since childhood. I encour...

Collagen is supposed to help the gut.
Bone broth is one way of getting it.
Bouillardi made me very sick when I was diagnosed. Many of us can’t take probiotics. We’re all different.

a pain in the colon :)

Tex,

I haven't had a colonoscopy in 7 years --- since diagnosed with MC. My doc wants me to have one but I dread the prep and the consequences of it.

Thanks,

Monique

Tex,

How do I know it's not diverticulitis? I always know when I am coming down with a flareup, I start having pain there but I am not flaring now. I was a couple of weeks ago for about a week...

A pain in the colon :)

Hey friends, Now and then I have pain in the lower left quadrant of my abdomen where the descending colon is located. I have been wondering if some of you have experienced it. I think it happens more when I flare but I also think that it happens because the colon is inflamed and it's trying to push ...

Hi Dorothy, You're asking what NOT to eat. I don't eat gluten, legumes, vegetables with too much fiber (like raw cabbage) unless they are very well cooked. No corn. No fried foods, chocolate, caffeine, sugar, processed foods, no nuts, no alcohol. I don't touch peanut butter. I do very well on protei...
