My mom had breast cancer and was on that drug for some time. It caused her MAJOR issues. She finally stopped it and has been taking Metagenics IC3 I believe. Her Estrogen numbers stay low to 0. She has been cancer free for 8 years.

Thank you Leah and Tex - Sometimes the people that know the disease the best are those with experience and I appreciate the opinions and experience that you all have to offer, even though your not a MD.

Tex... In regards to long term use of Entocort, which is what my MD has recently suggested for me, do you think it is a relatively safe choice for long term? The risks make me nervous. I am still working diligently on my diet/supplements and I have been able to hold again on 3mg. That being said - I...

Deproloft has St. John's as one of the ingredients. I might give it a shot unless Tex or another member says these other ingredients are suspect? Two Capsules Contain: Vitamin C (as Ascorbic Acid) 250 mg Vitamin B6 (as Pyridoxal 5'-Phosphate) 5 mg Folate (as L-5-Methyltetrahydrofolate from L-5-Methy...

Thank you for the information. I think being armed with information would be beneficial and he might be more inclined to think outside the box. I have your book too but I don't have it earmarked enough yet to share with the MD. I need to review it more often but sometimes my easy fictional stories w...

Trying not to be obsessed and frustrated

It looks like I was not able to stop the flare so the MD had me resume 9mg a day. I asked him about amitrypaline (spelling?) and he said no to that drug. I asked about histamine issues and he said that he has never seen the research come back with difinitive information. He said he has sent many to ...

A friend of mine is currently battling with adrenal fatigue. She did the saliva testing. It is not an easy road her MD stated to not stress, walk only, no major work outs, sleep... but no major breakthrough yet. Isocort is the cortisol replacement vitamin that she takes.. I don't know if that would ...

I will buckle down! It was a rough day on the loo yesterday so I hope buckling down will be enough. I will add green beans to my no list as maybe they were the straw on that careful balance. Every time I get sick/set back my family looses their mind, they all go bonkers - I try to let them know I ca...

I have not reacted to green beans before and I was just thinking that they were undercooked but I will have to rethink them - I don't eat any other beans/legumes that I can recall. I don't think I will even test peanut butter again. I have been going back in my journal trying to see all clues. When ...
