That’s so great, Monique, that you are in MC remission and also controlling your diabetes with Keto. Wish LDN had helped me. Did you lose weight on Keto? For me, with no dairy, seems hard to maintain weight without some rice and potatoes. Are you now able to eat raw greens and salad, or do you cook ...

Hi Deb: I know you've posted quite a bit of your history here, but I thought that you were on a low dose of Budesonide the last few years, and it kept your D to first thing in the morning? Has it changed to more frequently through day again? Like you, I don't ever get to remission. For me, doing wel...

I would encourage anyone who has legal access to marijuana, to give it a try. I have joined several medical marijuana online groups, as well as an IBD group where some are using it, and many with IBD's are getting symptom relief from marijuana. There are many forms and strains available today, and y...

Sue, that is good you didn't notice much difference going from 3 to 2. I get looser with each decline in dosage. I wouldn't rush it if you are doing well, and prob best to not try and get off until after your travels. People often revert after coming off, esp after a short run on it. Most people sta...

Sue: It's incredibly frustrating. Usually for me there is no rhyme or reason. Foods that I think are safe for me and fine one day, send me running the next day, so I know it's much more than food. Yes, we know hormones, stress, etc...can have affect, but most often it seems there is nothing out of t...

I get hormonal headaches. I get relief from applying peppermint essential oil directly to wherever it hurts on my temple, forehead, etc...it is not as much relief as taking ibuprofen, and must be used more frequently, but it dulls it and is helpful. As they said, you can try Tylenol, though that nev...

Though no personal experience yet, I have recently been looking into this. THC can help with D and IBD symptoms. It slows motility, as Zizzle mentioned. CBD oil is anti-inflammatory, but it will prob not do anything on it's own for MC. CBD will work best for IBD's with THC, and it also helps to modu...

Deb, If you haven't already ditched the Cholestyramine, regarding the dose, as Erica suggested, why not take 1 scoop near bedtime, rather than dividing? Most people are able to take a scoop at one time. Taking it once, the time it is interfering with supplement and med absorption is less. Hope you a...

Meatballs are great to bring. I make them with just some herbs, seasonings and the meat. No breadcrumbs or egg needed. I do throw the meat and herbs into food processor, to mix it well first. When I go to a catered event, I normally ask the host prior if possible, if there is something GF/DF that I ...
