Re: Sedona Sweet Arts

Thanks, Tex. I hope you are correct. I will hopefully figure out the “new”posts.

Again,I want to thank you for all of you books. I would not be where I today without those books!

Re: Update

Since I cannot find a place to start a new post, I will use one of my old ones to update. On March 1st, I had to go to the hospital and was diagnosed with pancreatitis. Scared me because my Grandmother and Uncle both died from pancreatic cancer. I was there for three days and nights and was miserabl...

Re: Suffering from Proctalgia Fugax

I have had this pain for years even before I had LC. It is terrible. It comes and goes. I had a gastroenterologist tell me years ago he also has it and there is nothing you can do for it. I take enemas and get some relief. Mine usually hits during the middle of the night. Fortunately mine never last...

Re: Sandoz Cholestyramine

I finally ran out of Sandoz. I went to CVS and they said yes they had it. I go back to pick up the prescription, did not check it, came home and for two days I took something from India. I had diarrhea so bad. I was so sick. I called Epic Pharma. They were so nice. I found out Walgreens here carries...

Re: Sandoz Cholestyramine

Thank you so much for sharing this information. When I picked up my prescription last week, Sam’s Club told me that would be the last time I could get it. What they will carry is not Epic so I will check with them to see if they can get it.

Re: osteoporosis and GI/thyroid issues

Deb, I have really bad osteoporosis because of LC. I fractured my femur in 2020 in 4 places. I was in a wheelchair for 10 weeks and a walker for another 4. My doctor is very conservative and wanted me to heal properly. Thankfully, it seems I have healed. Your injury you are describing does not sound...

Re: PRODUCT QUESTION - BANATROL PLUS

I bought some but have not used it. It does contain milk. I did not have an issue with casein on my Enterolab tests so am thinking I should be okay with that part. I am a bit concerned about a prebiotic. I will let everyone know when I try it.

Re: Covid vaccine

Received my second shot of Moderna vaccine last Wednesday. I had no issues but a sore arm. I took Benadryl for four days as I did the first time. I believe that is the solution for me.

Re: COVID VACCINE

I have LC. I had my first shot and due for the second one on February 13th. I have always reacted to all vaccines but the pharmacist recommended I start Benadryl the day before and continue for the next four days. I did that and I had no issues except a sore arm for a couple of days. I have felt no ...

Re: Covid vaccine

I have had a reaction to every vaccine I have ever taken and am allergic to many medications. I talked with my pharmacist and she suggested I take Benadryl 24 hours before, the day of and several days after. I did that. I had my first shot on Saturday. I have had no issues except a sore arm but it i...

Thank you Brandy. I will look into it.

I did see my doctor yesterday and he said fracture was not caused by ReClast. That made me feel better.

ReClast

I am looking for something to take for osteoporosis since the ReClast has probably caused this femur fracture. I found Ostinol. Has anyone tried that and if so, had any results with it.

Thank you,

Tex, will you please direct me to something that tells me ReClast could increase the risk of femur fractures. This is frightening a UT Southwestern doctor would prescribe this!
