One thing I have realized over the past twenty four months, Doctors do not have all of the answers sometimes it seems they are guessing. Reminds me of the show House. He would pick an illness four or five times before he was finally right. Of course its TV so he always got it right in the end, we sh...

New diagnosis on second colonoscopy

I was diagnose with MC lymphocytic Colitis Oct 2012. The diagnosis was that it was suspicious with MC, weather suspicious that means you have it or they cannot rule it out I not sure. I always questioned the diagnosis due to not have diarrhea (only seem to have it when I was on PPH). Maybe also beca...

Well I appreciate all the information and advice, and yes I meant suspicion of MC. My only thoughts are that I don’t really have symptoms that are exclusive of MC (no D or C) which is by far the main symptom. I have read hundreds of posts and that seem to be the one constant, other symptom exist of ...

I have been Gf for almost twelve months, but my symptoms are basically the same before or after. On a few occasions I added Gluten (after 6 months of avoidance) in on a rare meal and saw no difference. Due to my lack of D or C, just really gas and bloating and some nausea, is it likely my mc diagnos...

Still trying to diagnosis myself

I get indigestion a lot if I have a big meal, acid meal, BBQ or hot sauce, fatty meal, drink too much soda or eat something fried. I told me doctor and he prescribed PPH, which I ended up getting diarrhea and lower stomach cramps. Looking back at my health history over the past two years, I have had...

If you want fish oil but don’t want fish you can take Chi Omega is is stronger and made from plants. I have had Domino’s pizza myself and have had no issues, but I am not 100% sure if I need to be Gluten free. I also like Red Robin. Btw I get the metallic taste some time in my mouth, not sure what t...

Well thank you for the input. I have been gf since jan 5th. I will try pepcid tomorrow. Hopefully it will help without getting side effects. I read online that vit d3 can actually cause acid reflux, maybe that is in large quantities. Btw my blood test reveals that I have a low level of vit d since I...

Proton Prohibitors

I took Omeprazole before I was diagnose with mc and after three days I had diarrhea. So i stopped it two days later when I figured it was the drug that caused it. Last year a I took prevacid for 30 days, no issues that I can recall. This year i took nexium (similar to Omeprazole, but has one differe...

Thank you very much for the information. I definitely have some type of gas problem I believe. I would say that is might biggest issue, as diarrhea has not been too much of problem, but stomach pain from gas certainly is. It is strange it comes and goes and even when I am in pain for two straight ho...

Breath test for lactose

I have seen another QI doctor. He recommended three separate breath tests. I took the first one today for lactose. Next one determines gut bacteria. This one I am very interested in. Anyone have these done?

Food allergies vs intolerances.

My Entrolabs test reveals issues with Gluten, with a minor reaction to Rice. Well I gave up gluten and limited my rice intake. Since I was still having issues (Gas build up, indigestion (some acid)) no diarrhea. I went and saw a food allergist and they stated I had a low level reaction to Chicken, E...

Casien (protein) vs Latose (sugar)

Per Entrolab I do not have any issues with casein, but I am still having what I believe is some type of gas issue possible hydrogen? in my lowered stomach area. Usually I just feel bloated, when it occurs it last for 4 to 6 hours. Every now and then it is a pain like the stomach flu (some nausea) an...

Possibly a stupid question, but at this point I will leave no stone unturned. I have been working in front of a computer (10 hours a day) six days a week for the past five years. I feel I am slightly hunched over. Could this cause stomach pains sort of squish you stomach together.

Hello Helen Stomach grinding is very common for most, but unlike most I also have an increase in urination. Just curious how many times a day for you, for me its like 10 to 12. Interstitial Crystitis could be the cause, but from what I read it is more serve than that 10-12 it is upwards of 50. a day...

Tex I read up on Interstitial Crystitis and the Google article talked about it be a caused of IBS among other things, so that is a possibility. I have an apt with my doctor on Friday, I was also considering seeing a Urologist I figure it couldn't hurt. I have had a pain on my left center side just b...
