Thanks for the flaxseed idea. I used take flaxseed oil capsules years ago. What would be a good dosage?

Hi Maggie. It's reassuring to know I'm not the only one, but who would have thought the eyes could be so affected, huh? I'll keep you posted on how it is without the drops. I'm supposed to use warm compresses every evening, so we'll see. :-)

Scent/Chemical Sensitivity

Hi everyone. I haven't been around for awhile because I have been doing pretty well the past several months. However, I recently started having trouble with my eyes. Red, irritated, itchy. Long story short, an ophthalmologist diagnosed me with blepharitis and prescribed steroid eye drops and an anti...

I love all of the gluten-free Chex cereals. I eat more cereal dry, as a snack, than with milk. I find the sweetened cereals way too sweet too and always eat a mix of half plain rice chex and whatever other flavor.

Just wanted to chime in that I ended up being anemic and needing iron infusions about 3 months after my diagnosis of LC. I'm still pretty tired and don't have much energy for anything except work (I work 44 hours a week). Thank goodness my hubby is a house husband and does all the stuff at home. I f...

I'm not giving up rice either. I will take a peek at my bag of rice though and see where it came from.

I forgot to mention that I have a constant sore throat and various lumps and sores and bumps in my mouth and throat too. It's very annoying and I haven't yet found a way to get rid of this problem.

Hi Gosia and welcome. I was diagnosed with lymphocytic colitis in January and eliminating gluten has helped me and I don't have to take any medication at this time. I've also drastically cut back on coffee/caffeine. I never have eaten much dairy, but seem to tolerate Greek yogurt and cheese very wel...

Jessica, I'm so glad you found us. I was just recently diagnosed too. I understand your feeling of relief to finally have an answer. I,too, knew something was very wrong during my last flare. I also lost 15 pounds, which is unusual for me. Congratulations on your wedding. Maybe you and your hubby can...

My experience with juicing is that I can DRINK all the fruits and veggies so far with no problems. In my case I think it's because the insoluble fiber is not getting into my body. Our juicesare heavy on apples, kale, carrots, celery, pineapple, bananas, oranges lemons, tomatoes and cucumber. I suspec...
