I've read various articles that say I should only be eating 0.8 per lb of body weight and that generally women should only eat 46 grams a day. 56 for men. I've been eating around 80. The articles say that it also causes dehydration and I have felt dehydrated recently even though drinking a good amo...

Arthritis and shoulder pain

My MC is causing shoulder, pain in my right shoulder. Drs say I have arthritis, which is common for MCers, so I understand. But when I flared up again, my shoulder pain pretty much stopped, now the shoulder pain is back. I Didn't really understand the shoulder pain, when the 1st time I went into rem...

Well, I am improving day by day. On the road to recovery. Pretty sure I know what it was, it was the creamer I was putting in my coffee. Didn't look like any ingredients had gluten but it did. So, since I was putting only a tablespoon a day it needed time to build up to really flare. A small amount ...

I think I know what it is. After examining my diet. I will let everyone know, when I know for sure. But it was just a small amount it built over time, and eventually made me flare.

Not if you don't change your diet. That link had nothing about changing the diet. Just says it goes away by itself.

Lando.... are you having many serves of gluten free process flour products? cereals, breads, etc? for a product to have gluten free status in the USA, it can still have up to 20ppm of gluten. this may not cause a reaction as you eat it, but over the day or the week this will build up. Along with if...

It takes several years for anti-gliadin antibodies to decay to non-reactive test levels (even when you are in remission). That result looks to be possible, especially after your exposure in June . The exposure in June kicked your anti-gliadin antibodies higher and that is probably still showing up ...

Hi Lando, Mom is celiac, Dad is not. Dad does not eat GF. I cooked a totally GF meal for the three of us at Mom and Dad's house: steak, baked potato and I think broccoli. I had a strong GF reaction the next morning. Clearly the fry pan or the dishes had gluten contamination. Yes, I think I am clear...

Lando are you using the immodium that is lactose free? No. But I read this, and it doesn't cause any symptoms from it. Most medications do not contain enough lactose to cause lactose intolerance. But some patients with severe lactose intolerance may experience symptoms. https://www.drugs.com/inacti...
