At the start I did well with lots of homemade chicken soup with carrots and celery, roast chicken, cod, pork. For vegetables, zucchini, winter squash, sweet potatoes, avocado, bananas. I also made muffins and biscuits with almond flour for breakfast and tried to add lots of coconut and olive oil to ...

Linda, I do color my hair. No problems with it removing color, and it seems to leave my hair in good condition. I use the coconut conditioner as well.

Linda, I use Desert Essence Coconut Shampoo, and am pleased with it, as I am with all of their products. Unless I missed something, it does not contain gluten or soy and is reasonably priced. I get mine at Vitacost at a discounted price.

I have no problem with pumpkin or sunflower seeds, eat them without soaking. I waited till I was fairly healed before trying them, though.

The Aroy D is a good brand. Was able to find mine at an Asian market. They are good sources for foods that we can't find anywhere else. I always buy the uncured bacon. One of the nice things since I've gotten sick is not feeling guilty about eating it! If you are able to tolerate nut butters and/ or...

Oh, Joe, you are such a tease! I'm dying to try your ribs, but it is 10 degrees here in Oklahoma City, much too cold for a southerner to be outside with a rack of ribs. I will keep this for future reference, to be sure! Thanks so much.

Good news, Gloria! What dosage of strontium and calcium do you take? It's pretty sad when doctors don't provide the data necessary for us to make decisions about our health. Makes me wonder if yours even looked at the results, just assumed they would be the same or worse. I love that you're so dilig...
