I’m an oldbie looking for advice…
Hi all! I’ve had LC for 12 years and still struggle. Recently been using the toilet 4 times a day. I do not eat out. My kitchen is gluten free. Here’s what I eat daily…. Cassava, almond, coconut, tiger nut flour tortillas & bread that are homemade. I’m grain free. Small amount of fruit Cooked ve...

Ground turkey
Can anyone suggest any brands of ground turkey that are soy free?
I’ve been emailing different companies inquiring into their “natural flavorings” and rosemary extract carrier oils, but they don’t even seem to know.!?!
Thank you!

Psyllium debate
Hi! I’ve been using psyllium twice a day for a while now. I was taking 1/2 tablespoon twice a day, now 1 teaspoon twice a day. I really can’t tell if it’s helping. I “go” 3-4 times in the morning usually, but now I go in the afternoon, too. Would you reduce or increase the psyllium? I’m trying to ge...

What’s the current thought on MRT testing?

Antihistamines
Has anyone researched and found any antihistamines/decongestants that are gluten, dairy, soy, egg, & corn free?

Re: Flare Symptoms Changed
I had covid once, in June, as did my son & his family….my husband never got it either! Hugs right back at you, Amy! Thanks! I’m questioning my use of beef gelatin and collagen. Anyone react to beef on Enterolab testing and are able to use the gelatin/collagen? I make turkey bone broth, (...

Re: Microscopic Colitis and Covid-19
I had covid in early June.
I was having some trouble with flaring in May, but despite taking away almost everything I was able to add to my diet, in the last 10 years, since diagnosed with LC, I’m still not in remission.

Re: Flare Symptoms Changed
I had covid in early June and am still struggling with getting back into remission. I’ve had LC for 10 years and it took me many years to get into remission. I remain gluten, dairy, soy and egg free, but was able to add salads and baked goods back into my diet until this last spring….I’ve taken away...

Re: Enterolab results after 20 years
I have used some of Dr. Fines products. I use his digestive enzymes daily. I also use the blueberry fiber, as I’ve been on the constipation side of this disease for many months. I have used his probiotics, but I simply do not do well with probiotics. He has a one day cleanse that is all natural. I’m...

Re: Advice, please!
Thanks, Tex! Maybe I will just do a conference call with Dr. fine and see what he recommends. He has a one day cleanse, that I’ve never tried, due to fear of upsetting the apple cart. I have just never done well with probiotics, pre-biotics, supplements etc.… Don’t know if it’s a histamine issue, or...

Re: Advice, please!
Update…after a few weeks of no legumes, I’m still experiencing the same issue. Do you recommend any food sensitivity testing? I avoid basically everything that Enterolab tests for. I know that in the past the food testing was not very reliable, but I can’t pinpoint why I’m having this issue again. O...

Oh my, that’s funny about soy and the cattle.
So much has changed in our world, or maybe I’m just getting old…
Thanks for helping me with my current puzzle. I appreciate your time.

Re: Advice, please!
Tex, It’s interesting that you should mention the soy connection with legumes. As I think about it, besides the cereal, I’ve been eating peas and string beans from our garden this summer, as I love them fresh. I never did well with beans in general (digestive distress) but heck, I don’t do well with...

Re: Advice, please!
Tex, The Forager cereal I eat is cinnamon. They recently changed the formula. It used to be cassava flour and navy bean flour. I bought a few boxes of the old formula before it changed…but I didn’t think about the pea protein, or the connection to soy with the navy bean flour. The Siete grain...
