Pancreatic enzymes

Thanks, Tex !
I don't like the Idea of cat scan radiation but am glad that it is non-invasive. I"m hopeful this will not be the start of further testing. I agree that there is good cause to think that inflammation is the cause of malfunction in both body parts,

Hello and thank you

This website , as many of you have stated is a God-send. I'm learning more and more. Good luck with finding a better doc, Fluffy. I had considered changing doctors, but now am aware that most doctors don't know a great deal about the disease. My doctor did say, "We don't really know what causes...

Thank you for the chicken broth tips. Sounds like a good idea. So far I've been using chicken breast, but when I think about it, chicken is chicken, and dark meat will not only provide a little variety , but it is tender and moist too. Got to go buy chicken today. I've been reading Mast cell informa...

Budesonide

Thanks Zizzle, for posting this article. I'm new this week. My Gastroenterologist has mentioned budesonide as the next step if Lomotil and Imodium don't work, (haven't worked for 5+months). I've decided to do elimination diet first but it's nice to know that this drug is of some help, if needed. tha...

Thanks for your encouragement and sharing your diet experience. I think I'll I need to stick with this elimination diet longer and give myself time to heal. I'm hoping to find which foods (and meds. if needed), that will help my colon do it's job. Though, when I think about it, I'm not sure it ever ...

Thanks Leah and Lesley for encouragement to see this elimination diet out. Think I'll try apple sauce instead of banana and see what happens and then try switching rice out for corn tortillas or white potatoes ( recommended by Jean on elimination diet info.) I do see some humor in the situation. Les...

Thank you Carol and Leah, I haven't started taking Budesonide as yet. The elimination diet seems to be working well so far. I really would prefer to see whether diet changes will give me relief from the D and other nasty symptoms. Did either of you consult a dietician? I imagine that it can be compl...

Glad I found this website

Hi All, I am new to this web community but am not newly diagnosed. I was dx 3 years ago but soon after the dx went into remission. In fact, I didn't think my CC diagnosis was correct. However, my G E assured me that I do have collagenous colitis and that my symptoms would return. And, she was right!...
