Wow, I didn't realize there were replies on this thread to me! I did not get any notifications via email. I'm really tired, so I'll reread the messages and hopefully reply this weekend. Thanks all!
Hugs!

CAN rebound happen that fast? Yes it can. I'm hoping that someone else can advise you on the supplements, as some of them can be very individual-specific. I think you are right to be concerned about supplements with a long list of ingredients, and protein drinks, especially protein drinks that cont...

I've been meaning to reply here for so long.... Always trying to catch up on my limited life, chores, errands, appointments and taking care of myself through the various symptoms that come and go and come back eventually. A pattern. And try to have a social life and catch some music once in awhile w...

Need advice-Tapering/diet difficulty-continued weight loss
Hello, long time no chat on here. I very much need testing and diet advice and some encouragement. I switched GI doctors (old one said some things that were very inappropriate and was recommending gallbladder removal). Primary and new GI both at local university in early December advised against it ...

topical zinc does not work so well. i have tolerated high high dose zinc orally with no issues MC wise. like anything in MC world, start low and slow and and work up gradually, you get what you pay for, dont buy cheap and nasty, spend a bit extra for better quality. like the dr dean remag product, ...

Wen, I'm not at all familiar with topical creams of lotions. MC is nototious for causing steatorrhea. Tex What a nice surprise to find all these replies today! I didn't get any email notifications for this thread. I looked up steatorrhea to see if the symptoms match mine. Only a few times (3-5 time...

Hi Gabes and Tex, Hope you or others will comment with some suggestions. I need some feedback. After reading the recent MC Foundation newsletter, I asked my primary to add zinc and copper to her list of recent blood work. Copper is 173. Range is 70-175. Zinc is 58 and range is 60-130. Trying to figu...

Terri, I'm so glad to hear that you fared well after the gallbladder surgery (NO D!) and that you're still in remission for MC!!! :-) I can't wait to be able to say that for myself and cheer someone else on!!!!!!!!! I'm so sorry to hear how challenging life has been lately. You've been through a lot...

Terri and everyone else, I know your post was from two years ago. It would be good to know if you had the surgery and how you're doing. If you had D after or if you're taking that bile medication. Hope you're doing better! Hi all, I recently found out via complete abdominal ultrasound that my .6 cm ...

This is the product that the MD that my niece-in-law goes to. She recommends this once your B12 and folate levels are elevated to the numbers I mentioned in my prior post. This is maintenance once those levels are higher. Sure is pricey for 60 day supply. Is this similar or the same thing as the Met...

Why in some does Methyl B12 cause major jitteriness/anxiety and hyperactivity (inability to sit still or relax)? I took cyanocobalmin in sublingual form when I was healthy maybe 10 years ago and didn't have any issues. Don't recall how much I took though. This side effect is completely different tha...

The Thorne Methylguard B vitamins (I took 1 per day) brought my homosysteine down from 15 to 9.9 over a 6 month period. I do not have the MF gene (I was surprised) but think I just don't absorb the standard B vitamins well due to MC. Good for you! How much B12 is in your capsule? I don't know how t...

Thank you for all your replies... With getting easily fatigued, researching all this is really making me tired. It's hard to limit research to 15 minutes! My primary care doctor referred me to this biochemist, but I searched his products and I don't see anything related to MTHFR or methylation issue...

Hi all, I'm making up for lost time (ha), so this is a long post. I've been productive and proactive to get well. PT twice a week nearby to keep my muscles strong and looser and once in awhile a lovely massage from a incredible lady who is in remission from ulcerative colitis (synchronicity!) Also, ...
