MICROSCOPIC COLITIS SUPPORT

Thanks everyone...I think I am going to start to taper after I get through this latest flare from taking antibiotics (twice actually in the last month).

So you avoid histimine producing foods as well as you standard gluten,dairy,eggs,and soy right? Man seeing avocados on that list really gets me too...I have been putting them on everything since I can't have cheese/sour cream. Do you avoid corn as well or does that not seem to bother you?

How else did you restrict your diet TeX?

How long are most people kept on endocort? I am nearing my three month mark and I think my gastro wants to wean me off but I would like to stay on it longer...what is that average time people use it?

I have decided to give the enterolab tests a try. Do I have to be eating gluten/dairy to get a proper result for those antibodies?

I have been taking 5 days of Augmentin for a hideous sinus infection that was flaring my asthma..sinuses feel a bit better but my intestines are hard as a rock and hurt and diarrehea is back with a vengeance..any suggestions how to survive the next five days on the antibiotic and beyond?
