Re: Dry Mouth
Thanks, Tex. One of the recommendations is to drink a lot of water, which I do and have always done. I'll keep researching for a healthier mouthwash to use at bedtime. My hygienist said using one of the products would also help with the plaque that forms. I go every six months for a cleaning but the...

Dry Mouth
Hello. I have very dry mouth at bedtime. I asked my hygienist & she recommended Xylimelts (Xylitol). While it worked very well, it really disrupted my sleep & one night I woke up sweating! Biotene is also recommended but I read the ingredients and one is listed as being bad for the endocrine...

Re: pepto dosing and other questions
Hi, Cynthia. I'm a Pepto success story. My GI recommended 2 tablets 4xday for 8 weeks. After a few weeks I became C so I reduced to 6/day. I took the tablets which I cut in 1/2 and took with water. Do not chew them or your tongue will turn black. I have not needed any medication nor have I had a maj...

Facial
Good morning! I hope this finds everyone well. I haven't visited for a while. Life is busy! I'm in remission for around 10 years, thanks to this group. I went for a facial yesterday, which isn't common for me. It was wonderful to lay on a heated table for an hour & be pampered for a bit. But sad...

Paula, it's scary what we're eating without being aware that we're eating it. Our country is so far behind other countries in keeping our food supply safe. I hope you soon find an end to the flare. Take care!

10 year anniversary
Hello, friends! I haven't checked in for a while. Retirement life is busy! I recently had my 10 year LC anniversary. While it's not an anniversary that I really want to celebrate, I am doing incredibly well. I attribute my success to this group! I recently had annual bloodwork and other than my chol...

Re: Travel and long distance hiking with MC
Hello! I haven't traveled overseas, but I have traveled across the country. I always carry Nick's turkey sticks for a quick source of protein. If you tolerate tuna in a pouch (without additives), Epic bison bars, packets of Justin's almond butter, Lundberg organic brown rice stackers, Lara bars (hig...

Re: Travel Trips Please
Hi, Elaine. If there are Target stores on your travels, they carry gf items. I purchased Applegate gf hot dogs while in CA & I was eating one in a piece of gf bread while in the back of an Uber! We have to do what we have to do. I always have Nick's turkeys sticks on hand (Vitacost online has th...

Re: Enterolab Testing and Budesonide
Hi, Granny. You might want to look at going dairy free as well. Many of us react to the casein in dairy products. The Enterolab testing should be helpful to you. I was glad that I did it.
