Thank you, Wayne. I think our local grocery store carries rabbit and duck magrets. Any safe fish? Or is it too soon considering tuna is a big no no? I'm very pleased with the results of the diet. She's off to college again soon so she will slip, no doubt. But when she returns we will pick up where w...

Diet changes

My daughter started a modified version of the SCD intro diet yesterday: Fodmap friendly turkey stock, turkey, and carrots. Immediately her diarrhea stopped. She would have 3 BM a day and so far nothing since yesterday morning. What would you advice us to try next knowing that she reacts to all 11 En...

Gelatine

Thank you! Hahaha! Better nails? My daughter already has witch like nails!! :)

I'm making a lot of bone broth at the moment! With the clear diet for the colonoscopy I'm making jello with organic and grass fed gelatine. Let's hope for the best!

FMT

Wayne, thanks so much once again! How do I find Nathan's email address? Is it on his profile? We will have a diagnosis for my son on Thursday or Friday. I'm doing the SCD intro diet with him and it seems to be helping (day 3 now). I'm convinced that UC and Crohn's can be managed with diet and I'm res...

FMT

Does anyone know if FMT (Fecal microbial transplant) can help with MC? The concept grosses me out but if it could help... Anyone who would know of a great support group like this one for UC (ulcerative colitis)? It looks like my son is going to be diagnosed with it this week (colonoscopy). I can't b...

Have you heard of the LEAP protocol? Is that a good way to go about eliminating triggers?
Thank you so much once more for being so available to us! To me! :)

SCD

Thank you again!

It's really a trial and error process, is it not? Very interesting. My daughter is coming home soon and we're going to start working on her diet. I agree, dairy is a no no.

SCD

I went through the diet items and nothing about SCD stood out for me so I apologize if it's been discussed before.

Is anyone on the Selected Carb Diet and experiencing any kind of success?

thank you!

I cannot eat turkey because of its tryptophan content, which, instead of calming me down, perks my whole nervous system up. It's not an allergy per se, but I'm certainly sensitive to it for that reason. Maybe it's playing a part for you too...
