GI Beriberi

Hello everybody! I rarely visit this group, but thought I would update you of something I have experienced. After having implemented the Root Cause Protocol, which is based on healing with minerals and vitamins, getting rid of excess iron in the blood etc, I came across a new group concentrating on ...

Could my CC be a sluggish gallbladder?

Hi all, I haven't been on the board for a very long time. Partly because I have been feeling quite well, and partly because there has not been much to tell. I hope this is not "cursing in the church", but I joined The Root Cause Protocol two years ago, and it has helped me build up my body...

Gut Microbiota Study

Hi all, It has been a long time since I visited you, but you are always in my thoughts. I have gained more energy and I now live more or less a "normal" life, and my interest in gut problems is still very much alive. I joined the Root Cause Protocol last autumn, and I owe my progress very ...

Hi Permafrost, You have come to the right place. This forum has helped me tremendously. I just noticed your comment: For gut/overall well-being: Garden of Life Probiotic Mood+ 50 Billion CFU, Magnesium Glycinate 400mg. Your intake of magnesium (glycinate, malate, threonate are all good ones) should ...

The Vagus Nerve

Hi all, After having lived with CC for 8 years, I have read almost everything there is to read about the disease, and now my eyes fell on the vagus nerve https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5808284/ And I also found this statement " How the vagus functions: “A main characteristic of th...

Yes, MC is very commonly found in the small intestine. Check out this reference: http://herkules.oulu.fi/isbn9789514294150/isbn9789514294150.pdf In section 2.1.6 (on Pages 22 and 23) it says: Inflammatory changes may not be restricted to the colon mucosa in MC although no systematic information of ...

Thanks again, Erica!

I just took 1 ts directly into my mouth, kept it there for a few minutes and swallowed. I really could taste it. Tastes bitter to me.
Exciting to follow this new way of taking it; maybe I'll notice a difference

Hyvä päivä, Joonas! Your doctor is quite "normal" when it comes to understanding microscopic colitis. I was told "live as you have always lived, and eat what you want". Luckily I found this group in 2014 after having been ill since 2010-2011, and I finally started to understand t...

-Dear Erica,

Thank you for a nice reply. I have yet another question, maybe a dumb one: Do you put the nano silver in water before drinking, or do you take the drops directly? I have asked the producer, but have not gotten any answer.

Thank you in advance,

Erica, The shipping of the nano silver product from American Biotics took 2,5 weeks and when I finally received the bottle I lost my nerve, and did not dare to take it. However, I have taken 1 ts every day since Monday this week. I have had no strange reactions, and still have very loose stools. May...

Start the day by taking a pinch of unrefined sea salt (Celtic Sea Salt, for instance) before you drink water. I trust you drink Evian or something like that, and not tap water.

Erica, I'm so happy for you. While waiting for your answer (and the time difference) I thought "why the heck, nothing to loose", so I ordered a bottle. The shipping time is 14-21 days from the U.S. to Norway, so it will take some time before I can comment on the result. Also, we have some ...

Erica, I thought sodium bicarbonate did the same job as "your" silver product? I have been taken 1 tsp sodium bicarbonate in 1 glass of water on empty stomach before breakfast and 1 hour prior to dinner. I'm not a chemist or a biochemist, so I don't understand the value of the ingredients ...
