Hi Mary, I just wanted to offer that you said your child is in 5th grade; well, I got my period in 6th, and I recall a girl who got it in 5th. Unfortunately she was the brunt of a LOT of horrible teasing, but I think the more boys know about stuff like this (the more they know the more "normal&...

Actually I"ve been oncall a lot which means I work 24/7 for 2 weeks straight. UGH! Anyway, back to the topic!

Hi Tex, Jumping in late here, as usual.. I consider myself healed, having had mostly formed BMs and no regular gut pain since my liver detoxification diet followed by tolerance testing of a few foods; however, I still have issues with all complex sugars. I can ONLY tolerate a little pure cane sugar,...

Hi u2, I wanted to highlight something I read in one of Dr. Fine's articles/speeches. He'd stated that a test for Celiac would ONLY be positive if there was damage to the villi in the small intestine/duodenum. (while the point of his article is to say that this is NOT the only true indicator of GS o...

Ugh. My diet has always been irratic. When I was 17, I went from a stringent 5 egg and huge workout type diet to anorexia for awhile. That got me sick with Mono. After that my parents had to force me to eat. From then on, if I didn't eat every 3 hours or so, I'd get really dizzy, nauseated, weak, ge...

Polly, Thanks for posting this.. I'll try to see that movie ASAP - but I wanted to add to your post. You mentioned that the glaciers reflect the sun and that water absorbs the heat - as I'm sure you can all guess, this heats the ocean. The delicate state of the coral reefs in our oceans is at risk. ...

Jean and Katy, While I agree that what we have is a medical condition with actual symptoms, what I translated the article to implying is that part of the reason we have many medical issues is that our emotional stress has taken a toll on our physical condition. Meaning, when we hold all of this stre...

Mike, MY GOSH I have this. I don't *constantly* feel like I have to have a BM, but almost! My legs hurt/cramp up, like they would if I were holding it a really long time, and otherwise, I get cramping/contractions in my colon and bowels as if I have to go but I only go about once a day now. I'm pret...
