Post-Covid-19 relapse :(

Hello to all! I haven't been on this forum in forever because I've pretty much been in remission (and I have a toddler), though I still could not eat things like nightshades/alcohol/sugar alcohol/lactose/spinach (I'm allergic to all grains, legumes, nuts, seeds, eggs and shellfish), and I discovered...

Hi Jessica, Funny story - during my first pregnancy, I initially craved rice crackers. All of a sudden, when I'd not even eaten any, I couldn't stand to even look at the containers; just thinking of them made me dry heave. Pregnancy is so weird, LOL. Every woman in my family experiences intense morn...

Update: My flare passed & we are being extremely careful about spices now. Sigh, LOL. So difficult for me as a Cuban/Italian person to avoid nightshades in cooking... it feels wrong! Eating every 3 hours, having seltzer after meals & getting enough sleep have managed the morning sickn...

I hadn't seen those yet, thank you! I just read through them & am crossing my fingers my MC goes into remission soon, LOL. I will be staying far away from nightshades & other triggers regardless!

Thank you for that information, Tex! My morning sickness hasn't been as intense this time around as it was with my first pregnancy (15 years ago!), which I suspect is due to me being a raw vegan at that time. I feel much, much better when I eat animal-source protein foods (especially red meat). Toda...

6 Weeks Pregnant - Trying to manage MC + morning sickness

Hello everyone, We were very surprised to learn last week that I am pregnant. I am 6 weeks today, and am on my 3rd bout of MC flares. My boyfriend made some chicken drumsticks with paprika in the coating & that set me off the first time. This second time is because my chicken w/safe ingredients ...

I'm an exception to the dairy rule: I do wonderfully with butter, heavy cream, hard cheeses like aged gouda & sharp cheddar, homemade yogurt (24 hour variety), especially strained, and many of the organic commercial yogurts, specifically ones with 5 or more cultures. - Lactose is my problem, so ...

Or maybe your warm up is causing global warming?!?!?!?! I'm glad you're not blue anymore. That was always upsetting, to have dead looking feet. My fingernails would get blue. Well, the nail beds. Naturally blue nails would be kind of cool. I think I have uncovered my newest trigger - White W...

A little bit different than your hotness, but I've been looking forward to a cold chill this fall and it finally arrived the other day. It's hardly terribly chilly, but in S. Florida temps have dropped into the upper 50sF. As I suspected I do not feel as cold as I typically do when the weather turn...

Up that high could be acid reflux, especially if it travels upward. Mine travels downward. When I was pregnant, the only time I've had acid reflux except for a recent few bouts from pepperoni (no more for me, sigh), and I drank peppermint tea, 2-4 cups a day to soothe it. Worked great. :) Well, for ...

Hot feeling!

Not the sexy kind, LOL. Hi everyone! I wanted to thank everyone who has given me advice from this board, you have all helped greatly! Now, to my hotness. I get this feeling in my tummy - rarely stomach level, usually an inch or two above the navel on down. The feeling starts out warm and proceeds to...

Hello! Thank you for the tips on magnesium & Vitamin D. I have used magnesium malate in the past, which was helpful. I take both magnesium & Vitamin D currently. Spearmint oil on the temples and back of my head works really well to melt away pain, but it gives my son a headache (the irony!)....

Hi Tex, I didn't even know they had NSAIDs for topical application. So, I would rub that on my head? I wonder if I could make my own... I have a lot of sensitivities to ingredients in topical stuff. I haven't tried plain Tylenol in years. My migraine pain isn't that bad now because of the preventati...

Migraine Painkiller that is not NSAID/triggering?

Hello, I am trying to do this Autoimmune Protocol, which only cuts out two more things than what I usually eat plus limits fructose. No problem! Unfortunately, I use NSAIDs 1-2 days per month for migraine pain and I know for sure they are a trigger for my MC. Does anyone know of a painkiller that wo...
