Jari, My DH buys Kirkland Organic coconut oil at Costco. I scoop some of it out of the big canister and put it into my little jar in the bathroom. A little goes a long way. The rest is for cooking. I hear ya on the greasy bag balm, but that is probably why it works its magic. It is petrolatum and la...

I love bag balm! Have been using it for many years - on lips in the morning and before bed, on hands and/or feet before bed when they are dry, and even on crows feet and eyebrows at bedtime. It's my little secret, ladies...really more effective than expensive creams. I get my bag balm at CVS stores....

I would prefer the email reminder, so that I could retrieve the newsletter at will, and that would be another opportunity to see what's new on the MC Foundation website. Thanks!

Good memory, Tex! True, I have not taken any prescription meds at all since diagnosis, including to treat MC. I only take Imodium on an as-needed basis. Several persons have gotten this virus that I know of, who do not have MC, and I'm watching to see how they respond and how long the symptoms last....

Update on the cold: I can't believe that it took through Day 18 before my cold was pretty much over and I started feeling human again. Wow! Does this mean I have a compromised immune system? Colds never seemed to be such a problem before. I was thinking the other day that my body actually feels &quo...

Hi Jonas, My experience may not be like yours, but I had a short onset of what I consider to be both arthralgia and myalgia symptoms after I took some very high potency probiotics that I bought at Whole Foods. This occured a few months after my diagnosis of MC. It caused such intense pain throughout...

Thanks, Tex. Have made homemade chicken soup and am sipping it throughout the day. This is a killer cold, and tomorrow is day 4. It should be gone by the end of the week, hopefully. Have a great evening!

Thanks Tex and Gabes! Update - I must have caught a virus on the plane, because since Sunday I have had a really painful cold, with sinus drainage and cough, head pain, low energy. Ugh! I have not been sick for a couple of years that I can remember. I remember reading (maybe here or in Tex's book) t...
