Hello! It's been a while!

Hello everyone! Gosh, it's been forever since I have posted.....life has quickly spiraled out of control and before I knew it it's been a few years since I have checked in. I see some familiar faces along with a ton of new folks -- welcome! Sorry to hear you are suffering with MC, but believe me, yo...

Rosie,

Do you have a Trader Joe's nearby? That's where I buy my ham from. They have a nice spiral sliced ham that is only glazed with honey and spices, no gluten or soy. It's pricey per pound, but very tasty.

Good luck on your ham search!

Well, I am both happy and sad to report that I too have noticed serious "brain fog" since my diagnosis. Happy to know that I am not alone, but very sad that others have also experienced the same..... In the early 90's I was a whizz-bang bank teller. I saw customers pulling into the parking...

Hi Tex, Thanks for your encouraging kind words! MC does slow me down sometimes, but I refuse to let it stop me. Some may think I am stubborn or stupid, (LOL!) but I'll just keep on truckin' as best as I can. You've put my mind at ease about the hysterectomy as well; at this point, I'll be glad to pu...

Hiya Tex! Gosh, it's good to hear from you! Thanks for all the helpful info, it's put my mind at ease. I just got back from a round of x-rays, after calling my doc. Nothing is showing up, not yet anyway. The fact that they are rubbery-plastic would make it challenging to see them anyway. The little ...

Hey Everyone! Since it's been a while since I've posted I thought I would check in. Hope everyone is doing A-ok! is I've got a quick question-- I've been doing pretty good, down to 2 Entocort a day (vs. the three I was taking) and the diarrhea seems to be under pretty good control. Hi Tex, WOW! That's quite an interesting scenario....to think I was worried about my Achilles, when I should be counting my lucky stars nothing worse happened. Thanks for the education! For future reference, considering I need the Advair for my asthma, what antibiotic should I be requesting in the e...
