Hi - I have diverticulosis also. And tried to start and add more fibre in - with disastrous consequences. Back in the midst of a flare up of LC. Cholesterol is mid high and I have a strong family history of instant death heart attacks so it’s so hard and stressful to get all this working well. I’m b...

I was healed. Or so I thought. Had added in quite a few new foods and was doing well. I guess I just added in too much or — I can’t have all the things all at the same time. Was constipated for awhile. Now back to diahrrea. It seems to be C or D. Haven’t been quite normal for awhile now. Sad. Sad. S...

Diverticulosis
Yes Tex - thank you - I did mean constipated. Either a typo or darn auto correct. I will check into the magnesium. Thanks. I'm taking Vit C also. That helps with the Go if I take the right amount. So will try to figure it all out.

Lots of salads and fruits but mostly cooked veggies not raw - except lettuce for the salad. 2-3 huge salads every day. Am now taking a fi...

Sheryl, Did your doc take at least half a dozen biopsy samples during the colonoscopy exam? (More is better). If not, then he probably missed it. What did your pathology report actually say? Did it report normal numbers of lymphocytes or was the count elevated even though it may not have been high ...

Can Lymphocytic colitis go away
I just had a colonoscopy - said lymphocytic colitis is no longer present. I am still having symptoms. Not diarrhea - but urgency and needing to go and can't always go and tons of gas. Still on a limited eating plan. Last disaster was caused by straying off my eating plan. I also have SIBO. Could I n...

Agree with all the above statements. I started with the fodmap diet but it had too much food. lol. Then went Paleo and now I'm my own version of fodmap/aip and the foods I am eating are working for me. I'm finally feeling well. Hoping to eventually be able to add in more variety of foods. I'm taking...
