Hi Vanessa: We meet again!! Yes, I took calcium supplements (without any magnesium or vitamin D supplements) for probably at least 20 years. While I can't blame any doctors for this, all my doctors knew I was doing this, and of course my reason was to keep my bones strong as I got older. No doubt th...

Hi Lilja! I think your happy story is VERY interesting!!!!! I imagine few of us would know what to say to that ... I don't think it's common at all!!!!! How fortunate for this poor man. The only thing that comes to my mind is that perhaps he was extremely run down ... and that actually resting in ho...

Sorry, Diana, I may have misunderstood. When I read your results earlier this morning, I thought I saw that it read that you had no significant reaction to pork, walnut and cashew. The reason I brought up the nightshade is what it said on your report regarding the white potato (says the same on mine...

Tex, aren't tomatoes also a nightshade plant? That's my understanding, and if so, that's kind of like 2 potential issues for us mc'rs (and for Diana, who also showed a reaction to nightshades on her results). Diana, isn't it a relief to find out for sure what your intestines are reacting to? I hope ...

I was just wondering if books that are published these days are printed with soy-based inks. My EnteroLab test result was super high for soy (for everything, actually), and I honestly don't know where that came from. I'm an avid reader and handle printed materials quite a bit. Come to think of it .....

Dear Erica: Thank you for posting what indeed is an amazing success story. If asked to define what makes a success story, I'd probably answer that it is when you feel it is! You've shared so much of your journey in such a raw, powerful way, that I know you've inspired many others in addition to me w...

More stress than just money to this bill!
Has anyone ever heard of this? I was looking at a utility bill and my eye happened to stray to the bottom. Where it read: "PG&E prints its materials with soy-based inks on recycled paper." Yikes! Thought I'd pass it along as I know some of us are super sensitive to soy. ~ Holly

Just to chime in here ... I'm another one who was on a statin for over 20 years (and was also told it was for life). I tapered off it and have been statin-free for almost a year. My cholesterol numbers have gone up, but none of my doctors have been alarmed enough to put me back on (and I wouldn't do...
