thank you so much...i have found that plain soda stream water seems fine for me. i never used flavors but like the carbonation. since my mc seems to be resolved for the time being, i'm going to begin using some herbs, etc. in both my cooking and my water. mint is always a great, refreshing taste.

thank you, martha e. as soon as the weather changes, i'm going to try some soups. that has always been a comfort food and i appreciate your input and advice. while the garlic sounds mouth-watering, i'm still on a very strict elimination diet. as soon as i progress to stage two eating, i'll begin to ...

thank you, gabes, i have a Stevia sweetener called Truvia - reading the label, it uses erythritol as the natural sweetener produced by a fermentation process. do you think that is ok? i see another stevia product - Sweet Leaf - that does not have any artificial sweeteners. probably better, huh? i'm ...

sparkling water

i was wondering how people are doing with plain sparkling water (like soda stream) and/or the sparkling ICE waters - flavored with sucralose, natural flavors and fruit juice concentrates. i've veered away for now due to the 'additional stuff' but wondered about carbonation in general. i seem ok with...

great suggestion on the chicken in water...i have had it but we typically have leftover chicken so i use the dark meat when we roast a whole one. adding the dill pickle relish is great - guess the sweet relish has too much sugar. is vinegar ok for you? i was wondering about that as a little flavor b...

Gee, thanks! i'm stoked to factor in these extra proteins...i've been struggling in an attempt to get away from my traditional breakfast of blueberries, gf toast (with seeds) and fried egg whites (with fresh veggies, etc golden in). now, i'll just replace that with other interesting flavors - i have...

homemade soups

is it ok to make homemade soups without dairy products...i have a few recipes that call for potatoes as the thickener, veggies such as carrots or cauliflower, butternut squash, etc or even a tomato-free minestrone? it seems that since "safe" vegetables need to be overcooked, a soup might b...

Bacon and Sausage

i wanted to jot a note to jari...but wasn't sure if e-mail was inappropriate since i'm new to this forum. when you mentioned jimmy dean's all natural sausage is that in links, patties or just in a chub that you make into patties? also is it labeled "all natural" or just the original? i was...

Magnesium...

Thank you, both...I ordered 400 mg tablets and will split it am and pm. My honey is going to take it as well - the reduction of pancreatic risk is a valid reason regardless of the MC symptoms or cramps (which he does get at times).

thank you, Gabes,

i'm sorry i didn't respond to your kind words and information. it seems, after reading about it for a while, i'm just too overwhelmed with both information and the sadness that is accompanying losing my best "friends" (food and alcohol)! i need to read up on exercise since i feel i'm not g...
