Yes! Actually, my GI doc does a trial of cholestyramine before trying budenoside and has found that in many cases she hasn't needed to go to the latter.

Hi Lilja! Have you tried floating? We have a new spa nearby where one can float for 60-90 min. in an Epsom salt bath. If you have had a cholecystectomy, has anyone recommended a trial of cholestyramine, a bile binder? Many who have diarrhea after a cholecystectomy have found this med to be a lifesaver.
