I have gotten adventuresome lately with my veggies and surpringly found that I can tolerate onions and spring onions. Green and colored peppers appear to do ok as well. I found I was staying away from trying based on discussions but I was missing so badly I decided I would start testing adding back ...

One more question for the trip. My doctor did call in a prescription for me for a type of budesonide. It is a 60 day supply at 9 mg each. I have been improving and seem to be doing relatively well on the stage one diet currently (fingers crossed as it seems that can change at the drop of a dime). An...

Patricia, Thanks so much for all your detailed advice. I am truly humbled with how helpful everyone has been. I feel much calmer about the prospects of this trip. I even tried going out to eat this last weekend for our anniversary and tried out the "To the Chef Card" so I could see how tha...

Much easier read that the actual research article. Thanks for posting. Agree with Gabe as well on the diet / lifestyle modifications / nutrition. I am actually really missing my CSA veggies as I relied very heavily on lots of local fresh fruits and veggies in my diet before the full blown onset of M...

Thanks, Gabe.

Based on number of sprays of the Mg oil I am applying, I should be at about 400 mg of elemental Mg a day currently. I will look to get specific B and C's.

Thanks again,

Erika

Hi DB - I am not taking Cholestyramine. Thanks, Vanessa, for your input. That doesn't confuse the issue. It actually helps. I figured the "zaps" were from coming off the SSRI but did not think it would linger. And, I think I will stick with the the topical Mg for now and try work my way sl...

Sorry to hear you are getting the shakes and hope it gets under control soon. I actually have been experiencing similar symptoms of lightheaded sort of dizziness. Hard to explain but feels almost like a very subtle electric shock in the head. I thought this was due a side effect of tapering off an S...

Homemade Electrolyte Recipe

Does anyone else have issues with maintaining energy levels for exercising? I play tennis and took a break while MC conditions were particularly bad over the winter. I just tried playing again and found my energy level to be very low. I know I was struggling with getting used to the new Stage 1 diet...

Thanks so much for all the very helpful replies. I hadn't even thought about minute rice, so I went out and got some to experiment with to see if the hot water strategy would work on the plane or later in the hotels. Does anyone have a recommended salmon in the pouch that doesn't contain soy? I've l...
