Do you eat if you have stomach cramping?
Hi all,
If you have stomach cramping, do you continue to eat (safe foods, like broth or rice or turkey), or do you take time off eating until the cramping resides?
Thank you!

How do you deal with setbacks?
Hi all, I was feeling a bit better, and started to eat more types of food (still no dairy or gluten)... but then in the last day or so, the D and stomach cramping have returned. I have back-pedaled and now am just drinking broth and taking pepto. How do you deal with setbacks like this? I feel very ...

What do you do when you first get a flare?
Hi all,
Is there something that you do immediately when you get symptoms of a flare-up to hopefully get things under control early?
Thanks! Kim

Getting enough calories with the recovery plan? And kombucha
Hi! I have started the recovery diet, and feel like I am not getting enough food. I am having mostly the soup (with chicken and some cooked vegetables), but find that I am hungry. Any thoughts on how to get more calories?
Also, is kombucha helpful with MC? Or hurtful?
Thanks! Kim

CC or LC
Hi! I was diagnosed with LC about 5 years ago. Since, I have had bouts of diarrhea on and off... and then in February, I was diagnosed with CC. Is there a reason I had one, and then developed a different type of MC? They did feel slightly different, although a lot of the symptoms were the same. Just...

Imodium or diet or budenoside?
Hi, I was diagnosed with collagenous colitis in February, and was on budenoside for 3 months (9 mg, 6, then 3)... I have not had any D issues since being on the budenoside, but about a week ago, my symptoms seemed to return (D and bad stomach cramping). My doctor recommended I take imodium every day...
