Thanks for this info. Soy and pea protein are problems for me, too. Had no idea that others shared this problem. Learning this is reassuring, the more we know the better.

Thanks. That's a good insight. I will try a bit of benadryl cream. Since the reflux / food sensitivities drama only settles with pepcid. no doubt there is a mast cell type thing going on with skin also. Staying on steroid cream or starting prednisone is not what I really want to do. All the DAO supp...

Auto immune dermatitis anyone?

Has anyone else developed an auto immune rash/dermatitis? I have LC here. I had a surgical procedure in January. They didn't listen when I said I have a severe latex allergy, and taped my hands closed, arms for ivs. as well as across my face. The fact that very definite straight lines on face and han...

Hi. Sorry for your experience. Hopefully getting back on this will help. From my point of view, gluten is just evil. Dairy is still a sly thing, alluring, but not my friend. And only small amounts of certain fiber tolerated . My daughter had a similar experience with a functional md who insisted on ...

Hi, I realize this is an old post, but am trying at this time to sort out these pain issues. Wheat made my hips hurt. But haven't had wheat for years. Dairy makes me hurt all over. In my mind I have separated general body pain which varies more than joint pain. Hands, low back, feet , and the hips. ...

Don't know about the timing, I found about the egg allergy before the LC, BUT !! I think /know my allergies actually got aggressively worse with intensive allergy shot therapy. 2 injections/ 3x week. Then a mean viral infection, and my health went down. So, yes, I think immunotherapy can go wrong. R...

When it comes to dairy, I only fool myself , like today. It's a short term feels so good in the mouth and belly. Then tomorrow I will get slammed. Not just gut but body pain, arthritis. Hard headed describes yours truly.
So be careful, do what is best for you.
I am so much better without it.

Hi. The dose I have settled on is 1/2 pouch. Mixed w cup water, then more water. Usually late am or mid afternoon. Can't take too near meds, especially. But not too near a meal or digestion slows .
I really feel it helps me.
Hang in.

Last week we got to the grand Canyon with the grandkids; the gut had been good. We travel in an rv, (taking my bathroom with me.) Got to the parking lot, about to the shuttles. And the Dreaded D hit. So I missed the tour, not willing to risk it. Fortunately I have seen GC before and am sure it hasn'...
