Holy cow I think you helped a piece fall into place—too much antihistamine. Thank you for that…

Re: Back Again
Thank you for the tips Gabes. I’m getting the impression it’s the constipation that caused the big pain, which is the more manageable option. Though it does sound like finding the right kind of fiber might be tricky. My doctor has recommended Healthy Origins Healthy Fiber in the past. I’ve also been...

Back Again
Hello All, I've been around before. I was diagnosed with LC in 2013 after a lot of D. Entocort helped; I think I was on it too long but I eventually weaned off of it. I avoid gluten, milk products, most soy, and coconut with decent success. I’ve tried a couple of GI doctors but mainly see an integra...

Thanks carolm , it's great that you've found a lot of what you need. Interestingly the woman I see for depression medication is functional or integrative, I'm not sure which. In addition to the depression medication, she also has me taking a B complex, and a separate methylated folate. She had me tr...

It's really nice that people are so supportive here. I hope you can find some answers, dolson. I’ve done the tests, and do my best to eliminate problem foods. A vaguely paleo-ish diet seems to help, except that they love coconut and eggs and I can't tolerate them for the most part. The nausea and ra...

Two Things
Hello everyone. I was wondering about people’s experiences with two things: 1. If you are sensitive to eggs, do you find it matters what form? i.e. An egg cooked whatever style vs baked into a cake? I’m nervous to experiment when things are going well. 2. I was in a car accident recently and the doc...

Franz
Udi’s has been hit or miss for me; generally it just makes me feel sick. I don’t eat much bread anymore (I do better with limited grain, and don’t have excessive options here anyway), but have liked Franz’s breads: https://franzbakery.com/breads/

Toothpaste and coconut
Does anyone here have problems with coconut? If so, what do you do for toothpaste? I’ve found only one so far but it doesn’t have fluoride. My fiance suggested I use that and a fluoride rinse, but I figured I’d ask. I had liked Jason and Tom’s of Maine before this—they don’t burn my mouth.

Thank you Gabes. I know I react to things like wheat germ oil in items and just avoid gluten in everything. I've not noticed reaction to touching coconut, but am not absolutely certain. I don't relish trying to find coconut free shampoo, toothpaste and laundry soap--I've looked in the past and there...

Thanks. I’ll need to save up a bit. It looks like a $1000 worth of tests. I went through maybe 10 different brands of D3 with different ingredients. The brand with only two ingredients made the rash happen the fastest. My guess is it’s the lanolin. Yeah, I’m working on the feeling sorry for myself b...

Hi Tex--thank you for the welcome and information. I'm a little dismayed to hear that the budesonide will stop working if I mess around with it. I had tried to make myself feel better about being back on it by telling myself I just needed a little help while I messed with diet a bit, and hopefully f...

Discouraged, and Hello (Take Two)
(The forum ate my original post I think). Anyway, hello. I've been lurking for awhile now, but am working on getting over my qualms about posting about my health on the internet. :) I've been partly gluten free since 2009--I say partly because I didn't want to admit cross contamination was an issue ...
