Hey Tex, Nope...I rarely take Imodium. And when I do, I don't seem to have any adverse reactions to it, but it does wonders for me when I do have bouts of D. I'm pretty convinced that my woozy head is due to sugar intake. I am going to track it more closely now... I had found a chocolate that is dai...

Also wanted to add that my energy level has improved tremendously in the past month. I attribute it to my increased dose of B12. My leg cramps are nearly gone and I am amazed at how much more energy I have! My last hurdle is to figure out what's causing this stinking woozy head. But I do feel I'm on...

Hi Pam... I totally agree with Tex re the bisphosphonates. I also just started seeing a naturopathic doc who also agrees with what Tex said. I have had no problems with the OsteoPrime Ultra. I am taking 5 capsules a day per my naturopath. The OsteoPrime has vitamin K2 as an ingredient, which I have ...

Thanks, Deb. I had resorted to ACV a few times when my relux was bad. I am sooo thankful that it has gone away. Once I stopped eating beef, it was immediate...no more reflux!! The naturopah that I just started seeing wanted to do some more food sensitivity testing (IgG this time). If that doesn't id...

Thanks, Tex. It's again been a while since I've posted. I'm still off beef and most fruit and honey, in addition to gluten, dairy, soy, and most grains. I find I can handle some maple syrup as a sweetener, and have indulged in some "Free 2B" brand allergen free chocolate. It's quite a trea...

So it's been a while since I've posted... I just wanted to tell you all about my experience regarding the reflux. I went through a period of just being miserable between the reflux and the D. I finally decided to try a 48 hour bone broth cleanse. I made my own broth - a big pot of chicken broth and ...

I also want to say that I DO feel like I am slowly getting better with the dietary changes, but it is very much of a roller coaster ride. Good days and bad days, but it seems like the good days are starting to outnumber the bad anyway, so I am hopeful. I appreciate all the support from everyone here!

thanks for the replies, everyone. I have an appt with my GI at the end of the month. It's ridiculous how long it takes to get an appointment! They are always booked out at least 6 weeks :( I am still hoping I can get a handle on this with just diet and supplements. I did a course of budesonide short...

Thank you, everyone for the replies. I decided to go really extreme and do a 48 hour bone broth cleanse last weekend. I made some chicken broth and some beef broth. The first day I had nothing but chicken broth until about 5pm. I actually felt really good. Then I had a cup of beef broth and within a...

The struggle just gets worse :(

I am still struggling, and seem to be getting worse rather than better. So if I understand this correctly, leaky gut goes hand in hand with LC. So assuming that I have leaky gut, it just seems like I will eventually run out of food that I can tolerate! I am already on a very limited diet (G/D/S free...

Thanks, Tex and Teri. The reflux seems to have settled down in the last two days. Maybe from quitting the coconut? Not sure. So many variables...it's so hard to figure it all out. I'm thinking I will stop taking my probiotic for a while and see if that makes a difference. I think I also am going to ...

Struggling...symptoms just get worse :(

Hi... I was diagnosed with LC in May of 2017 but didn't really start having serious symptoms until September and changed my diet in November 2017. By mid December I was feeling significantly better and did pretty well until February. Since February it has just been a constant struggle. I started get...

Hi Vivian, It is interesting that you said you react to Pepto Bismol. I have been reading recently that some people can have salicylate sensitivity (Pepto is bismuth subsalicylate). I wonder if that is part of your issues? The list of foods, lotions, etc that contain salicylates is sadly long... I w...

Terrible reflux!

So it's been a couple of weeks since this started and I just can't get rid of this horrible reflux! I have eliminated ALL my supplememts for now (except for topical mag) but it's been a few days and last night was the worst reflux ever! I'm wondering if it might be all the olive oil I've been using ...
