Mold Test for our Home - Issues with Remission
I have been having issues with my LC and having trouble getting to remission. I have eliminated most everything from my diet for months now. Still having D daily and watery D at times. So, I had my home tested for mold by a professional. The results show a very high level of Aspergillus/Penicillium....

Thanks Gabes for the reply. Sounds like I’m just being impatient! I am drinking lots of water, probably 8 quarts a day. Occasionally I will drink some caffeine free ice tea, no sweetener. I do get plenty of sleep, usually 8 hours and as much as 10 per night. My work does have its challenges. I took ...

Thanks Tex! I just finished your new book and it is very good. I really appreciate all of your work and research that is so helpful to us who feel helpless at times! From reading both of your books there is one thing that is not addressed and I am curious about your thoughts. How do you feel about e...

Struggling to find remission, looking for help!
I’ve been told that there are many ups and down with MC, boy is that the truth for me. I have been totally gluten, soy and casein free for about 6 weeks now. I have been on Budesonide(9 mg per day) since first of August. I’ve had the EnteroLab tests done. About 7 weeks ago I was taking 8 Imodium per...

The past month I have totally cut out gluten, soy and casein. I was taking 8 Imodium a day and have now reduc...

Thanks so much Tex! You and this forum have been so helpful, it is very much appreciated! In the last couple weeks I have made great improvement. I totally cut out soy and milk products along with gluten free. I went from 8 Imodium a day down to 3. I have been pretty consistent, having what I would ...

Enterolab test results today- Surprising Results
So I got my results today. Really surprised. Looks like Gluten for sure and borderline on Soy. I never eat tuna but have had suspected that salmon may be an issue. Any thoughts on why results are so low? I have been on Budesonide for 5 months and special diet for about the same timeframe. Thanks! Qu...

Thanks Gabes, I have been doing vit D 5000 for about 10 days and will continue. I have always been a very heavy drinker with the water. The hard one is that thing call rest! Work and the job always seem to get in the way of that. This is probably the biggest thing that needs to change in my life. Ag...

LC and new medications for a bad cold
I have been on the stage 1 diet and taking Budesonide (9mg per day). Bad D, also taking up to 8 Imodium per day. Have had a bad cold and worried about it getting into my chest. Went to my family doctor and explained that I can't take anything that would have side effects with my current prescription...

Medications while on Stage 1 Diet Plan
I have LC and trying to get to remission. I have been working on the Stage 1 diet plan for about 5 days now and see progress. I also am in process of getting the Enterolab testing done. As I have been finding out, there is either gluten, milk products or soy in about everything! I have high choleste...

Thanks so much for the replies and Happy New Year to all. A little more on myself. I am required to travel often for my job and eating on the road with a strict diet is quite a challenge which I am sure most of you are aware. I am thinking the Enterolab testing will help me narrow down my options fo...
