That did not go well and he is navigating the waters now without much support and getting worse each day. It is just a matte...

I'm Back & Welcome to all New and Birthday Wishes to Mis

Hi Everyone, Yep it is me! Retired on May 27th and it has been a roller coaster ride since. Sending good wishes your way. Had fibroid the size of a football and weighing 8 pounds and had it removed over 15 years ago. Never the same system wise after it. Possibly added trigger to this disease.

You are in my prayers - envy your walking schedule.

Morning Cory, Nice to see an update from you and I am also in the prep stage of retirement which will take place 6/1/15. I will be 67. I have been winding down and will continue in January working just (2) 10-hour days and for only my boss. It is going to be a big adjustment in June but with my husb...

So sorry to hear of the problem Tex and do hope it passes much easier than you expect. It just seems that we have a tendency to develop some problems that others only read about. Glad to hear that you are feeling better.

So glad to hear all went well Nancy but I know waiting for the biopsy results can be nerve wracking. Hope all is good and yes, your are the optimist. My friend here at the Outer Banks has nicknamed me FTO - Forever the Optimist. It is much better than being pessimistic like him. Love, Maggie

HI Portianna!

Welcome to the forum and we truly are a family here and you are our latest family member. Like Theresa, I can't add to much to what has been said but want to welcome you. Tex's book is the truly the only publication out there that serves as a great learning tool.

Gigi, You are not alone - I felt so like you and have finally come to the realization, after many years, to just let it go. I too am an over-achiever, perfectionist and planner to the point of absurdity. The KISS method is pretty much my mantra now - Keep It Simple Stupid. Not that you are stupid by...
