MICROSCOPIC COLITIS SUPPORT

Does anyone have experience with the antibiotic Cifuroxime ? It has been prescribed for me for a possible sinus infection. I have never read about it here and am very skeptical about taking it in fear of triggering a flair. Any help appreciated. Thanks much.
