I see that this post dates back to 2012, but I am extremely interested in opening up the dialog again to see if anyone has any additional information. I've dealt with MC symptoms for many years even though I was diagnosed with CC only a couple years ago. While getting better over the past 8 mo or so...

Thank you for sending the link - I didn't see that interesting thread pop up in my search. I also didn't realize that all cows produce both A1 and A2 forms. It's a life-changing effort to eliminate soy, dairy, eggs, and gluten from your diet (not to mention all of the other irritating, spicy, and di...

For simplicity, I deleted an important question regarding the consumption of A2/A2 dairy products in my original post. It's still weighing on me so I'm hoping for some insight beyond what I have been able to find via searching past posts. My EnteroLab results for Fecal Anti-casein IgA were 14. The s...

Overall score for the 11 antigenic foods was only 9 so I'm going to eliminate tuna and gluten-free oats, but keep white jasmine rice in my diet. Thank you so much for your input - this is a huge help!

EnteroLab Results and Questions

Hi, I’m hoping for some additional insight into my EnteroLab results. Gluten, dairy, eggs, gluten-free oats, white potatoes, corn, and cashews were eliminated from my diet 8 wks and soy 2 yrs prior to testing. Fecal Anti-gliadin IgA: 130 Quantitative Microscopic Fecal Fat Score: Less than 300 Units ...

Tex, I was looking through this thread to see if there were any recommendations in the Gainesville, FL area. My health insurance is through the University of Florida so all Tier 1 doctors are affiliated with UF Health/Shands. My first GI appointment was with a celiac specialist (Anil Sharma), whom I...

Thanks for taking time to respond, Tex. These results are normal production levels as detected via blood tests, not for specific antibodies. I'll inquire with Enterolab on Monday regarding insurance codes and my general IgA levels detected via recent blood tests. I wanted to speak to someone there a...

IgA Deficiency?

Hi, I'm new to the group and am so glad to have found you! After dealing with MC symptoms for 20 yrs (since my mid 20s), I finally got a diagnosis of collagenous colitis in January 2017. As maybe only people on this forum can relate, I have been in some crazy situations (like being stuck in my drysu...

Nice to meet you, your books have changed my life - so helpful is an understatement. Thank you for everything you have done/are doing to help others get through their own personal MC journeys. I was not sure how to tackle this medical problem before discovering your books and this forum.

Thanks Tex, I'm glad to hear that you have been able to maintain for the past ~15 yrs on diet changes alone. That's the route I unsuccessfully pushed for at the time of diagnosis a year ago and got so derailed and confused that I lost the entire year. Recently finding Wayne Persky's books and post s...

Thank you for the golden tea recipe. I have access to fresh turmeric at our weekly farmers market and just this week started grating it into homemade chicken stock with cut up baby carrots - which really gives it some zip. I knew about the need for freshly ground pepper, but didn't know that I shoul...
