Wellbutrin and MCC
I posted in Nov that after over 5 years in what my Gastro calls 'deep remission' ....I had vicious flare while in the Bahamas while on vacation for two weeks and no amount of Imodium helped so I knew it was not normal diarrhea because Imodium works perfectly when its 'just' that. Used expired Entoco...

I . . . can get script for Canadian use but might want to do it NOW without script. Whats the best overseas pharmacy to use and whats the best Canadian pharmacy to use? I use GlobalCareRx in Canada for budesonide. It and every other medication I've checked is less expensive at GlobalCareRx than at ...

Thanks Tex, Guess I am just looking for cause/effect. I have not introduced anything new or different to my diet but am usually under stress of some kind. 72 yrs old, retired and always money issues. I starting taking Wellbutrin a few weeks before this flare. Ironic that I started taking it not long...

Thanks for the reply Tex, I have been taking the 'old' Entocort for 3 days and things are much better. I have 5 bottles dispensed in 2012-2013 and noticed long ago when I didn't need the stockpile that the bottles that were packaged from the manufacturer and not put in new ones at the pharmacy had m...

Ok....I won't worry about the prescription but even in the checkout process it says to upload or fax it but I will rely on your experience 100%. I didn't know if 3 packages of 90 would make customs think that I was ordering more than 90 days because they don't have a clue that 270 IS A 90 DAY order ...

Tex, I have been a member since 2008 but had to re-register for some reason. I had many flares starting in 2008 but thankfully HAVE been in what my gastro calls deep remission for 5 yrs BUT just spent 2 week vacation in Bahamas in the bathroom. I have been there many times with no issues so thought ...

Medicare Plans do not cover Entocort
Gloria, I live in Virginia and researched every Part D plan and none of them even mention Entocort let alone cover it at any price level. Thats why I will be ordering from Canada pharmacy recommended on this forum...Northwestphamacy.com ...when I run out. My retiree drug plan wants over $700 for it ...

Good for you...that's wonderful that you found a pharmacist that would help you. I have never seen any independent pharmacies around here since the 1970s. If I could find one like you did I would 'play it up' real well to get some help. I might as well not have supplemental insurance now that I am o...

Thanks for the sanity check. 270 will be fine for me and will last longer than 3 months because I experimented and discovered a few years ago that all it takes when I flare is one per day and I do that for 3 months and then wean off and remission lasts way more than a year now. Probably never did ne...

Ok I've got it now...give them the RX as a gesture. 270 capsules would work just fine. I am sure I was not on the diets long enough to have my gut react the way you say it should. With no other symptoms there is no way I could stay on them for as long as you suggest without the Entocort so that woul...

Thanks so much Tex
Thanks for the welcome and I am so glad to be here. Before I posted I read many of your posts on dietary issues. I can't say that my diet may not be affecting me but my trusted GI took me off wheat and then dairy and there was no change in my bowel habits. He tried so hard to diagnose me with every ...

I am new to this forum and so happy have found it. I have had MC for about 6 yrs. Only thing that works is Entocort. GI had me try PB, Imodiium , Asacol and combos of those but it did NOTHING but Entocort works in 24 hours. First remission was 6 months then almost a yr and then almost 3 years but fl...
