Hi Lucy,
Do you mean more b-12 in addition to the injection I get once a month ? I also take a daily multi-vitamin that has 100% rda of b-12, however, since I have true pernicious anemia, I don't think I absorb that, right ? Are you talking about the sub-lingual b-12 ? Do you think that would be better absor...

Hi Wayne
Well, I am just a big old goober head, I just posted another thread regarding other intolerances, and then scrolled down and saw your post ! Anyway, as far as the pernicious anemia, yes, it was dx'd by lack of intrinsic factor. The other symptoms I had, like the numbness and tingling, etc., I still ...

Suggestions for finding other intolerances...
Hi all ! Okay, the other thread about how often we have mc reactions got me to thinking... actually Joanna suggested it, but anyway, maybe I have other food intolerances that are exacerbating my problems. Now, I think everyone knows that I have Celiac as well as LC, so it goes without saying that I ...

This is very interesting...
Here I thought that I was "normal" by still having diarrhea. So, basically, what I am seeing is that the majority of you only have the diarrhea, etc., occasionally. Is that right ? Maybe since I have other issues, like celiac, anemia, and pernicious anemia, that stuff contributes ? What do...

Very often...
I think you are asking about diarrhea, etc., right ? If so, it is still a constant thing for me, everyday. Several times a day... Anyhoo, I've been gluten free for a little over a year now, and except for two weeks right after going gluten free, (I was gloriously normal for that two weeks!!), I have...

Hey Peg...
Well, from the "official" :boobs: lady of the board, I can tell you that yes, they say there is such a thing as a "normal" cyst. From everything I understand, once aspirated (and they don't all have to be aspirated), they generally don't come back. I just happen to be one of the ...

Anyone shop for GF products at Wal-Mart ?
Hi everyone ! I thought I would pass along a news story I read about gluten free products at Wal-Mart ! Beginning August, over 900 "Great Value" products will be clearly labeled as gluten free - I don't know about ya'll, but I am in GF Heaven ! Below is the e-mail I sent to Wal-Mart and th...

Tex,
Thank you so much ! I had my appt yesterday with my gyno ~ this is our plan : Avoid caffeine, chocolate, nuts, etc., for three weeks, I have a follow up appt then, if the cyst is gone, then we are assuming I have fibrocystic breast disease, if it is still there, then we are going to surgically remov...

Joyce,
I agree, it may be time for a new GP, especially if you feel he isn't doing you any good, or if he is trivializing your problems ! After all, it is YOUR body, and you are the one putting up with the problems, not him ! I get so angry when I hear about a doc blowing someone off ~ I feel so lucky that...

Joyce,
How lucky for you ! Unfortunately, that is not an option for me ~ my gyno says better safe than sorry in my situation ~ family history of breast cancer, etc.
Did it ever go away, or is it still there ?
Love,
Carla

Thanks ladies,
Oma, thank you so much for the kind words ! Hopefully, they will get it completely taken care of this time ! (unless I made my gyno mad and he just likes to torture me  ) Peggy, Girlfriend, I feel for you ! I had my first mammogram in Jan this year, and it was not fun, let me tell you ! I don't...

Another addition to the "BOOB" saga...
Well, it is the infamous :boobs: lady ! Guess what, you know I had the two "new" cysts aspirated a couple of weeks ago ~ right ? Well, the next day, they refilled ~ oh, joy ! Anyway, I thought I would wait a few days and see if they went away ~ no such luck ! They are still there ~ I calle...

Arkansas ?
Mj,
I just noticed you said Arkansas - do you live in Arkansas ? I live in Arkansas ! Anyhoo, I would have liked to have been there to hear Dr. Fine and Dr. Nelson - my pcp had me read a lot of Dr. Nelson's research on Celiac when I was dx'd.
Love,
Carla
