Hi Paul. Sorry to hear that WD is back for Charlene. You know it could be that you introduced a new food that seemed to be ok at first, but is now an issue. I've been in a tentative remission for about 3 months. I keep trying to add a few safe foods, but one day I can eat something and then the next...

Christine, You will get better! And when you do it will feel so amazing. So glad you found this group and can start your healing process. I developed MC a little over 3 years ago - my only symptom was watery D, but it was awful. I managed until the beginning of 2019 and then it was just out of contr...

Kari, I'v taken Synthroid for over 20 years. There was a short period of time that I took Levothyroxine, but asked to be switched back because I did not feel as well (don't remember the symptoms at this point, just less energy probably). My doctor was also on Synthroid and said the generic did not w...

Laine, Thank you for the update! I love to hear from you and others who have had success. I tried the cholestyramine for 8 days (kept thinking of your earlier post and hated to quit too soon if it was the answer), but after 8 days just had to quit. It made me feel very ill and did not change the D e...

Edit: Quantum Energetics, not Quantitative. When I cut banana and wine out, it did not improve anything, but, when I tried a test to see if I could eat them, it made things much worse with wine and a little worse with banana. At the beginning of the strict diet, I tried to add a few safe foods, but ...

Jessica & Tex, Thanks for the ideas. I'll keep working on the water because I do know that is something I'm bad about. The magnesium could be a big part of the high BP. I've been worried for a long time that I'm not getting the nutrients I need, especially mag. & vit D, but haven't found a w...

Jessica - yes, I'm am probably always dehydrated! I'll work on that. I always ate so many fruits and vegetables and probably kept myself hydrated that way. I tend to overlook that little fact.
Thanks,
Carol

Update: I did not try antihistamines, but have stayed away from high histamine foods for 2 months. I don't feel that it helped me at all, but I am slowly getting better. (Guess I thought a histamine problem would get better quicker if you stayed away from high histamine foods.) I still don't have an...

Ingrid, I sure don't feel like an expert on the MC subject, but I really feel like many of our problems are vitamin deficiencies. We're kind of "caught between a rock and a hard place" - we can't get better without the nutrition, but taking supplements might make us worse. Somehow, with th...

Laine, I sure do appreciate your post. I won't be so tempted to give up the cholestyramine when the results aren't perfect now. I'll just keep working on it for awhile. Even though I've had D for 3 years, I had been feeling pretty well for several months in 2019. Then starting in August my health fe...

I pretty much stick to meat (beef, pork), homemade meat broth, some salmon, white rice, rice cakes, rice chex. I can eat some potato, but it bothered me recently (or something did) so I've been staying away from it. I ate bananas and a little avocado in the past, but gave them up because of possible...

I drank dry, red wine for the first 6-7 months after I started the strict diet. I was no better, nor no worse, when I went without. Finally, my body started telling me it was time to change something. Tested wine a few times after that and sure enough it had become an issue. I'm hoping I can enjoy t...
