My functional Medicine GP put me on Questran (a cholestyramine) to control diarrhea. It was in pill form and I recall taking 2 or three large pills. It did not help with the D. How much Daily Magnesium do you recommend? I just ordered a Magnesium lotion from Vitacost. I was always afraid of the additional Magnesium supplements taken by mouth to cause diarrhea.
