Hello all, I received the results from the GI on some testing and it turns out I tested positive for C. Diff. Started Vancocin on Friday. I have searched some on this forum for C. diff and found some information. I guess one of my main concerns are the antibiotics causing more issues and causing CC ...

Tapering Budesonide

Hello all, Hope everyone is staying well during this crazy time in our lives!! I am sure most of us are used to life being disrupted, LOL. I have a question for those that have taken budesonide. I have been on it since October, starting at 9 mg, then 6 mg and now I have been on 3 mg probably since a...

Hello Gabes, I was also "a foodie, drank wine while preparing meals and was a bit of a dance on the tables party girl!!!," along with my entire family. It has been quite the lifestyle change simmering all that down. I have had to work hard and change my thinking to be ok with parting with ...

I am sure I have been low on magnesium for years, just didn't know it. After all this, I expect to be super healthy with all the lifestyle changes, which are certainly for the better anyway.

That morning I had not taken anything, but the day before had taken my supplements as usual.

Thanks Tex for all your input!! Shockingly, I did get the Magnesium, RBC test with my levels being 2.1 mmol/L the conversion would be 5.103 mg/dL. (I went to a functional nurse pract to help me out some, since the GI just wants me to stay on budesonide for a year and not change anything else, insert...

Hi Tex,

Thank you for the feedback. I am feeling very positive with these results and some piece of mind knowing exactly what I need to avoid, instead of just winging it LOL. I feel a full recovery is on its way!!

Hello Connie, For my breakfast smoothies I use one banana, dark chocolate collagen peptides, almond or walnut milk, spoonful of almond butter, sometimes a flax oil, and a little ice. This is easy for me to make and head off to work! I also remain pretty nauseated all the time and the smoothie seems ...
