Re: Enterolab testing

Thank you for the reply Tex. I'm wanting eggs so bad. Not only do I have to eat for MC, but also for Reflux related to a hiatal hernia. This really slims the food field down pretty narrow.

Enterolab testing

Hello, I have a question that I'm trying to figure out. My Enterolab test shows foods that I react to are extensive. But, I have a question about 2 specific foods. Eggs and Dairy. When it says I react to eggs, I assume those are chicken eggs as I also react strongly to chicken as well. And dairy it ...

Re: Digestive Enzyme Question-Enterolab

Hi! Thanks for reaching out. I actually have no opinion on the digestive enzymes. In my Enterolab report is was recommended by Dr. Fine that I purchase them. In the past, I worked with a health practitioner and I took them for Sibo, but they never did much for me. I wanted to see if Dr. Fine's were ...

Re: Just a bit perplexed on food intolerances

Thank you for the reply Tex. My vitamin D was just tested and it's 50.2 ng/ml. Should it be higher? It was 72 just a few months ago, but dropped. I also take a mag complex nightly. I am beyond frustrated. I feel like nutritionally I am going to suffer. I have so many food intolerance's. Where do I ev...

Just a bit perplexed on food intolerances

Hello All... It's been a while since I last visited. I have had my MC under control for the last couple of years (YAY), but developed a small sliding hiatal hernia with LPR (Laryngopharyngeal Reflux). Thinking this may be coming from the MC and food intolerance I re-tested with Enterolabs. Wh...

Thank you both, Brandy and Tex, for replying. My pharmacist said I needed to ask my doctor because the medication is used mainly for depression and I was on it for stomach pain, so he couldn't advise. Maybe I should ask the other pharmacist on call there? My Doctor's suggestion was very vague, so I ...

Amitriptyline Question

Hello, I was wondering if anyone that has taken Amitriptyline can answer something for me. I was put on this @ 10mg nightly about 5 months ago for stomach pain. I was also taking Budesonide along with it, but have been off of that for about 6 weeks now. While taking both meds my symptoms cleared up ...

Tex, I have been trying to keep a food journal to see what my additional triggers are. I recently reintroduced dates into my diet. In the past, they and prunes always helped to keep me regular. Well, sure enough, within 24 hours after eating only one or two, I got my reflux back with a vengeance. I ...

Tex, I was looking at all your food intolerances. Did Enterolabs tell you all that? I was just curious to know how you came to know about the Agar intolerance.

I never really suffered with diarrhea accept for about 3 weeks when I first started having digestion issues. I always had more issues with constipation, bloating, stomach-burning. I was actu...

Thank you Tex. I just found it odd that the very week my symptoms of C.C. started subsiding that I developed this other issue. I did read on a couple of different sites that they could be a side affect from the medication. https://www.webmd.com/drugs/2/drug-22008/budesonide-oral/details/list-sideeff...
