That was the flu. and if it isnt then I am really sensitive yet the delayed reaction is almost a day to gluten. I just now feel better 5 days later. I have ...

My Doctor says 3 months because that the is the length of a life cycle for a red blood cell. I think she meant to say "white" blood cell. Whatever... I guess I am not sure what she was getting at. I think that so long as I dont have excessive digestive problems it does not matter. What wou...

I have done the elimination diet for 2 weeks. My ND said I had to be eliminating for 3 weeks at least. She said it takes 3 months to get allergic foods out of your system. All I have is enough energy to be on a tight diet for 2 weeks. I am eating gluten pancakes right now and I had 6 pieces of wheat...

I have been at http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/fqtoxicity/ for the last few days. I have finally found my home guys. AND, you helped me along the way. Like I said before, I don't have a lot of digestive problems. Its not a complaint of mine. If you know anyone has taken levaquin, Cipro or any o...

I'm actually thinking my issue is Cipro Adverse Side Effects

I am a week into this Elimination diet having totally abstained from gluten and soy and kept nightshades, peppers and fructose at a minimum. I will eventually going to start on the elimination diet sometime within the next week. I think I have a few food sensitivities. However, I think my tendonitis...

I see 2 basic challenges with this elimination diet. what can I do to work through them? Non-food problems First, my symptoms of tendonitis, muscle and joint pain, have been to a large extent related to what I am doing physically. For Example, I have for the many days have been on an elimination die...

I am so trying! Hey Pinball Wizard, how about just trying a diet of about 5-10 foods you think might be safe and seeing if that brings relief. I am trying. I feel a lot better this morning. I went and got some things that would be pretty good for me, today. hummus, gf rice crackers, beets, goat yogu...

....Seems a lot easier to just eliminate gluten and soy. I spent the last week eliminating and soy and gluten and it did not work. This means one of 2 things. The enterolabs is BS in my case. Or, I am allergic other foods. Or, there are other factors. Or, it will take a lot longer of elimination. -...

Hi there, About the systemic tendonitis. I had it as one of my main symptoms. It went away in three days off of gluten, along with generalized body pain and swelling. The bi-products of all the immune reactions when this stuff gets as bad as mine was, damages every system in the body. That's why, o...

This does not mean I will not do an elimination diet for 3 months for certain items. I will definitely eliminate gluten for three months and sulfites.

I will decide on how much to cut back on the others later.

Here is what my Alt doc thinks: avoid gluten, and soy, and nightshades. I am going to do the exact opposite (at least temporarily)! ----------------------------------------------------------- I am going to eat different possible allergic foods and see if I get a reaction. I am not bought into the id...

Thanks Tex, If I continue to eat gluten at low levels, what are my chances of developing a full blown auto-immune reaction? And I must say that I have custom made hard plastic orthotic inserts because the store brand did not work. Also, when I read your posts, I add a heavy Texan accent to it becaus...
