Yes, Martha, I heard that as well on OPB's All Things Considered. http://www.npr.org/sections/health-shots/2015/06/02/411243242/vaccine-court-aims-to-protect-patients-and-vaccines I have spent a lot of time trying to file a report at the VAERS website, but it is a lengthy and complicated form and I ...

Think they just want all us Boomers dead off SS. I take 2 Magnesium Glycinate 200...

Thanks for the information, Polly. I tested heterozygous for just the 1298 on my 23andMe. Tried taking methylfolate and it made me much worse. I'm homozygous for quite a few of the gene mutations that relate to mood disorders. I take B-6-B12 every day, but likely am not absorbing it. Will discuss th...

Oh, where to start

Known as the energizer bunny in my biz as a caterer for the last 28 years, even though I am now 66. Had a fluvirin shot 1/9 and have been disabled ever since. Being tested for Guillaine Barre Syndrome next week. If you have a history of various "undiagnosable autoimmune disorders", as I di...

That's disappointing to hear, Lilja, since most of the cutting edge research on bowel diseases have thus far come from N. European countries.

New recipe book

This is a new book written by the woman whose shop I often go to: http://www.oregonlive.com/aloha/index.s ... _kyra.html

It's expensive, but she does an amazing job and her food is delicious.

HI Joan, I've emailed my GP with links and she has my daughter's permission to look at her test results. This is a month away from my appt. w/her. Still researching and from what I know/have seen this doctor whose site I linked appears to be on an altruistic mission here, very similar to Dr. Kenneth...

Want to make it clear that I am in the baby steps of researching this, but from what little I know, Zizzle, this has implications for mast cell problems and histamine problems from what I've learned thus far. I put this out here hoping that others will come to their own conclusions. We all just want...

Thanks, Tex,

Interesting that Marliss and I have both posted on this in just the last few days. Maybe it's a key. Still in baby steps here investigating it.

Hi Marliss,

Interesting that both of us have posted on this mutation in the past couple of days. My daughter has a double mutation of the a1298c gene. Just posted on this today. Perhaps this is a key link for some of us.

Replying to my own post

I have an appt. w/my new GP on 10/28 for a routine physical. I really like her although she looks about 15 years old to me, and have emailed her the links above and am awaiting her response.
