Tex, I knew in my heart that would be the answer. Sometimes I get so sick of this diet. It sure beats being sick though! How are you!? I think about you often. My life is good. I'm still working as a horticulturalist at the golf courses and still take my border collie to work everyday to chase geese...

This is Jean looking for updates

I was diagnoses almost 13 years ago. This board saved my sanity! I have been gluten, dairy, corn, and soy free ever since. In the last few years all complex carbs have made me feel achy, so I limit them to one 24 hour period every 10 days or so. When achy, I have to exercise. All in all, I feel grea...

New foods I've discovered, GDSC free

Here are a few foods I've discovered that I can safely eat. Hachez Cocoa d'Arriba Classic dark chocolate bar 70% cacao. Their fruit ones look like they might be OK, but none of them had the ingredients in English. Pomegranate Syrup concentrate found in Middle Eastern stores. Makes a great drink mixe...

Nice to hear from all of you. I started pulling the annuals today so my job may be over in the near future. Then I can get all the things done that I didn't get done last year... Jean PS Here's a photo of the mutation I'm trying to reproduce in my birds. It should show up this generation. http://www...

Wayne, I saw the same show and was fascinated. I think you missed one point. The event in females had to happen in utero (before birth) and the men were effected early in life. The reasoning is that it happen when the eggs and sperm are being formed in the respective paternal grandparents. This does...

Hi All, Yes, I'm back. Can't really explain my absence, just got busy and out of the habit of logging in here. My birds are doing fine and I had 30 babies last year. I kept most of them because I'm working on the new mutation and this generation should produce it or I'm wrong. It's fun either way. A...

Yeah, Johnny Appleseed brought apples for apple jack. And he planted a lot of dandelions for greens. That I curse him for many days.

Beth,

To me is sounds like you're getting hidden gluten somewhere. I'd suspect the new suppliments that you're taking.

Wayne, As I'm sure you know, the definition of Genetically Modified is that a gene from another source (plant or animal) is spliced into the plant's DNA. Selective breeding is what most food plants are. Selecting for desirable traits from wild ancestors. Almost every food that we eat is selectively ...

Andrew,

I have never found gluten in paper products, but corn can be in them. It worries me.

I only took asocol for 2-3 weeks and it did nothing for me. I started the diet and after finding all of my intolerances; gluten, dairy, corn, soy and rice, I have been symptom free for three years.
