Sorry Gabes, forgot to mention about supplements
I take a vitamin d3 tablet everyday, is there anything else I should be taking? I see lots of people take magnesium on here.
Thanks
Ali

Re: What should I eat? Ideas?
Thank you John and Gabes.
I also eat a lot of gluten free bread, is that okay to eat?
I have now ordered the enterolab test as I feel this is going to help me a lot

Re: What should I eat? Ideas?
Hi Tex I posted a while back regarding my CC and unfortunately I’m still struggling. I have been on and off budesonide for a year now and have lots more bad days than good. I am also on Colesevelam for binding bile acid and that does help but not all the time and I’m on the maximum dose! Back in Mar...

Re: What should I eat? Ideas?
Thanks for the info Tex.
I was on Budesonide for 6 weeks in May/June the. Went back on it in August for 3 months and am still taking some now every other day, I have about 10 left. Do I need to wait to get the enterolab test done?
Thanks

Re: What should I eat? Ideas?
Hi All, I had previously posted on here when I was struggling and unfortunately I’m back struggling again. I’ve taken budesonide twice now the first time I took them for 6 weeks and they worked really well, a month later the numerous trips to the bathroom in the morning came back. I went back on Bud...

Re: Suggested Eating Plan - Stage ONE
Hi Tex
I have switched from esomeprazole to famoditine which I’m really pleased about but can’t help but notice that since being on famoditine, symptoms of my colitis have got worse even though I’m on Budesonide? Can famoditine make Collagenous colitis worse?
Thank you
Ali

That’s great thank you, should I wait till I’m off the Budenoside to do the test?

Re: Suggested Eating Plan - Stage ONE
Hi Tex Thank you so much for your advice. I will do exactly what you said. I will stay off oats now and perhaps have plain gluten free corn flakes instead with almond milk? Hopefully corn is better than oats? Will also stay off egg as I seem to have a lot of them and never thought they were an issue...

Re: Suggested Eating Plan - Stage ONE
Hi Tex That’s so helpful thank you, I’m still on two tablets a day at the moment so I will space them out once I start on one capsule a day and will also take an anti histamine after that! Sorry for all the questions but is the antihistamine something I can take long term or just when I’m flaring? Y...

Re: Suggested Eating Plan - Stage ONE
Hi Tex, Thank you so much for your reply, I appreciate it so so much! As I’m in the UK I don’t think I’m able to use Enterrolab but I will definitely do what you have said! I also eat a lot of sugary foods so that probably doesn’t help. Unfortunately I don’t have enough Budenoside to taper off as I’...

Re: Suggested Eating Plan - Stage ONE
Hi Tex, I am 27 years old and from the Uk. I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease about 5 years ago and have been diagnosed with Collagenous Colitis in April. I had been taking Nexium 6 months prior to being diagnosed for acid reflux but I have now come off them as I have read online that they can be a...
