UTI, scared of taking antibiotics
Basically I think I have a UTI. I know I need antibiotics to treat it. I've never taken any type of antibiotics with MC. I'm terrified of the reactions I may have to the meds. :(

Generic version of imodium without lactose?
I don't avoid gluten or soy in my diet, but I do avoid dairy/lactose. I have been to 4 stores in my area looking for imodium, all of which were out. I remember reading that most generic versions contain lactose. I was wondering if anyone could recommend a store brand that does not contain lactose/da...

Question about an over the counter medication?
I tend to have very bad cramps during my period. Before being diagnosed, I used to take ibuprofen, which helped quite a bit. I have since tried taking tylenol and do not get any relief from it. I know it's best to stay away from NSAIDs, so I am trying to find an alternative that may work a little be...

constant stomach rumbling?
prior to adaptaing a GF/DF diet, did anyone experience constant stomach rumbling/random abdominal noises? I haven't been diagnosed with anything other than IBS at this point but these random stomach rumblings have started and I can't get them to stop! They're on and off all day long! they seem to be...

How many people here can tolerate caffeine? I would like to try some vegan chocolates but am not sure how I might react to the caffeine.

Medicine thats OK for a cold?
I'm coming down with a cold (mostly sinus-related) and I know we have to be careful with what types of meds we take, is there anything I can take for this cold? I feel terrible. I take tylenol for the headache but that only does so much.
