Re: Help! trying to understand diet restrictions
Thanks Laura, I just bought some coconut flour to try as well as some tapicoa and millet flours, hopefully I can turn it into some sort of bread! Have you used either of these? Of course, just after buying them I read somewhere on here that most mcer's react to Tapioca and Millet flours until in sta...

Re: Help! trying to understand diet restrictions
We're not all sensitive to nuts, and often, all the fiber is the main reason why we can't tolerate them. So you may or may not be able to use not flours. ##- I didn't know that about nuts, thanks for the explanation. That said, I am a 2+ for almonds and walnuts and 3+ for cashews, so guess that mean...

Help! trying to understand diet restrictions
Hi all~ Need some help and clarification on safe foods. I am looking through recipes in Dee's Kitchen and trying to find a bread recipe I can tolerate with all the enterolab restrictions. I thought nuts were a no-no for all MC'ers, but I see all the recipes use nut flours? Are these okay for everyon...

Re: Could this be a trigger???
Thanks Gabe for the reminder to look at Dee's Kitchen! There is so much information to absorb here, sometimes I overlook the obvious! That is one area I haven't looked at, at all yet- I will now! Tex, thanks for the insight, I am starting to stress on all the littlest details to try and get this rig...

Re: Could this be a trigger???
Hi Tex, Thanks for always taking the time to reply! My question here is more about the Rice Flour and the organic rice bran that are listed as additional ingredients in the capsule of the supplements, than the supplements themselves. My Enterolab results have me as: (2+) Moderate immunological respo...

Could this be a trigger???
Working on getting into remission, recently got my enterolab results back and am reactive to everything, 2+ for rice. I take two supplements, Tumeric and Milk Thistle, which both contain Rice Flour and Organic Rice Bran. Could that be enough to keep me from reaching remission? I am combing through a...

Re: Newbie Question on Enterolab testing
Although to be fair- the very limited diet I have been following, thinking I was eating safe for most foods, was made of of many of the foods I tested reactive to with Enterolab. those included eggs, grass fed beef, chicken, rice, occasional pork. I have removed all of those since getting my results...

Re: Newbie Question on Enterolab testing
That is promising to hear and makes the journey to remission a little easier. Big 4 meaning- gluten, casein, soy and eggs? I have RA(29 yrs) and OA (15+yrs) as well, so good to know how you reacted to those items, I will keep it in mind on my journey. Interestingly, Rheumatologists seem to think the s...

Re: Newbie Question on Enterolab testing
Life in remission?
When we finally achieve remission, are we able to add back any of these foods which we test reactive too, or should they be permanently removed from our diets, anybody know?

Re: Newbie Question on Enterolab testing
Again Tex, a huge thank you for sharing your insight and experience! I was wondering how the foods tested were determined, that makes sense knowing they are the most reactive foods for MCer's. I will search harder for a safe turkey and other wild options. One additional question- Are red potatoes co...
