thank you all so much for your thoughts. i am constantly amazed at how one "bad" BM can set my day off. i have to really try on working on that (my anxiety in general), because i have to accept that sometimes I will have bad days, and sometimes i will not. i know a large component of my is...

caffeine doesn't seem to bother me (at least it didn't while i was on entocort). i have eliminated it for other reasons but i sometimes drink iced coffee when i have a bad headache instead of taking meds.

Enterolabs test...a quick question (and feeling sad)

hi everyone, thanks for your responses to my last post. i had an okay day yesterday after my bad D on monday, and then last night and today it's been explosive and very watery again, after about 11 good days. I am wondering if it was yogurt, as I hadn't eaten yogurt for a while and I had some Sunday...

Two great weeks and then badness - some questions

Thank you all for your warm welcome last week. I have had two really good weeks, no medications, firmer stool, not having to go immediately after eating, only going 2-3 times a day. We went away for my husband's birthday this weekend and I thought for sure that I would be in trouble because I ate a ...

Hi there! I did this version last summer (my first colonoscopy). I mixed it with Crystal Light Iced-Tea at the suggestion of two friends who had used lemonade and found themselves vomiting from the sweetness (a quart of lemonade just did not sit well - my mother in law did the lemonade two weeks ago...

thank you all so, so much for your warm welcome. it feels good to be among people who understand, though unfortunately i am discovering that among many, if not most, of my female friends, we are all suffering with some kind of digestive woes or another. i know that my initial change to D was trigger...

I am a huge baseball fan (unfortunately my beloved Red Sox have not done anything like this yet), and I had heard that the Colorado Rockies opened a GF stand last year. Just did some Googling and found this: * Atlanta Braves (Atlanta, Georgia) – Now a gluten-free dedicated concession stand located i...

Thank you so much, Harma, for your response -- I do a lot of reading, some good, some bad, but I know that I have to be in control of so much of this myself, so I try to be as well-versed as possible. I should say that my non-GF lapses have been minimal in the past year -- 2 times at the suggestion ...

Introducing myself and a question (or two) :)

Hello, and please feel free to move this if I did not post in the proper place. I am a 31 year old female who was diagnosed with LC last summer by my GI doc, confirmed by a specialist this past week. I suffer mostly from diarrhea and poor BM quality, which has been occurring since I was about 24 yea...
