Turkey is a safe food for me as well as squash, zucchini, sweet potato, fish, etc......if I am eating these foods all the time, could they become a problem? If so, ow do I avoid this wit...

Re: Reintroduction Protocol?
Hi Gabes - I'm thinking of trying egg yolk as my first food to re-introduce tomorrow......would you begin with one yolk day one, 2 yolks on day 2 and 3 yolks on day 3 (as long as no symptoms arise)? Also does it matter what time of day you introduce it - or if it needs to be with a meal or on an emp...

Reintroduction Protocol?
After following an elimination diet and majority if not all symptoms are gone, is there a specific protocol/procedure to follow when reintroducing a food? I read a very detailed process for the Paleo AIP model. Can anyone direct me on how to introduce foods for MC?

Re: EnteroLab TEST RESULTS
Thanks Gabes -
I do have a package of Gluten Free "hulled" hemp seeds. That is the only ingredient listed. Do you think this would be considered MC safe as far as ingredients go?

Soy terms to look for when checking ingredients....
Are the Lists that Jean posted back in 2005.... a list of words to look for in the ingredients lists of products which means it contains Soy?.... which should be avoided if sensitive to soy? When looking at ingredients list....there are so many words I have no clue what they are (probably preservati...

Re: EnteroLab TEST RESULTS
Looking at my test results.................... is there a protein powder that I could eat that wouldn't be hurtful to my gut? I know animal protein is best, and I know I will be eating meats, .....but I'm looking for something for a smoothie that could be quick and easy every once and awhile. Would ...

Re: EnteroLab TEST RESULTS
Thank you both for your response. And Gabes....you definitely nailed it with your comment ..... "a big part of life with MC is the mental and emotional aspects - acceptance of some of the food limitations, embracing different ingredients for meals, grieving favourite ingredients that we can no ...

Re: stool vs blood serum testing
Thank you so much for your response. Is there a link to any articles that I can share with my doctor about this? Also...is there a "best time" to do the stool sampling? During a flareup? on medication? when symptoms are gone? Any guidance is appreciated. I will also continue to search/read...

stool vs blood serum testing
I was diagnosed with Lymphocytic Colitis back in 2020 and did 2 months of Budesonide and it helped. Fast forward to this January and I've been dealing with bouts of diarrhea daily and am waiting on getting scheduled for a colonoscopy to determine if its LC causing it again before GI will prescribe i...
